This is my car. I got it from ebay, did any of you see it on there? I think it went for a bit less because everyone thought it was auto :)

Hell, you could do it with prosthetics, its just THAT important. I mean, what was that Navy Divers name who lost his leg saving another guy and then rehabilitated and became a diver again? If he can dive, I can drive with a prosthetic. : ) Although, it would be terrible to lose a leg and I would just like to point out that I'm not making light of the disability. : )

It's kinda a lemon though. I love the car so I don't care. But the Starter went out, and the transmission is getting rebuilt because I can't stop racing and it grinds 3rd. So before I ruin it more I've gotta fix it.

$250 for the Starter $1,000 for transmission? (no done yet)

eh, forget the transmission, just switch to a better gear oil. Tons, and tons, and tons of 240s grind third, it has nothing to do with you. : ) So long as you aren't ACTUALLY having any problems, if you don't mind the grind the synchro doesn't matter. : )

yea, lemon's suck. mine's done good so far, cept for an oil leak i had to get fixed around the oil pan gasket. i think that is a relatively common fix for 240 tho.

They said they opened it up (the transmission) and there was metal flakes everywhere. So I guess it's bad or whatever. Either was i'm gonna get it fixed. It's embarassing as hell when it grinds. This Corvette pulled up on the side while I was driving, I was going about 55 so I went to drop it into 3rd and it made a loud *** grinding sound, they looked over like what the hell was that. I looked so stupid.. hehe.. I raced my friend's mustang and he said it sounded horrid. Grinding 2nd and 3rd.. Pretty bad.. I can't stand it... My dad is paying for most of it and i'm getting an ACT clutch put in too so I don't really care. I'd just rather have it working right.

Hey 240SXer,It looks like we have cars that are almost identical. The only thing yours has that mine doesn’t is a rear spoiler and an extra 20k miles (but I did pay less so maybe that’s OK).Congratulates on your new ride

nice 240.i just dont understand why people put such things about the car on ebay.i mean, ive seen all kinds of 240s with 6 cyl and then people dont even know what the transmission is?i nknow they said it at the bottom but if it doesnt say it all over i would think the people dont know what theyre talking about.but yea, congrats on your 240.
