VERY clean. Looks good, you should drop it. How did you adjust your pics to 400x400? I'm computer illiterate.

the car looks nice, i think you should take off the front license plate bracket for a cleaner look though. Subs are not rice, they require to much money to be rice. If i nice sound system is rice, then i dont want to be not!

No photo shop (or speakers, or printer, very s***y computer). Are there any places on the net that I can build a real quick page, or just some place to upload pictures fairly easily?

What does the Matrix headlight conversion look like?

i assume your talking to me about the matrixes, no they arent the same as the stock sealed beams! They are the same shape but a lot clearer, and have built in "city lights" that i wired to a switch. Thier another bulb below the main bulb. Basically you can then put in any bulb you want like a normal light because you dont have to replace the whole sealed enclosure, you can just open it and pop it in. I got the super whites and it looks great, i like the eyeball headlights so i just wanted them to look a lot better.

lol lost to a k car, it wasnt a bang at u, just a statment of the fact that it isnt the same as stock. But if you want me to explain more...Quote »Subjective, unless you've used a meter to measure light transmission through both lenses using identical bulbs, which you haven't.
Acutally i still have my stock ones and they have little rectangles shapes engraved into the glass, making it very cloudy to look into, while the matrixs do not. I dont need to measure the amount of light coming through, its obvious. Quote »"It just replaces the sealed beam headlights with an enclosure and an H4 bulb."
I bielece thats what i said, you can now put any bulb in the headlights without having to throw out the old housing. You just open the back end and pop out the old one..."eyeball" headlights are what everyone that sees my car refers to them as, hence sleepy eyes. As for the city lights, i am looking for a link for you right now to the model i have. (i got them off ebay) It looks sick during the day when i put the blue city lights on with sleepy eyes...

the quote war continues! Quote »The latter appears to be brighter. Why? Because you've (roughly) doubled the rating of the bulb behind the lens.
I dont know if you have been talking about clarity when thier ON this whole time, because when i said clearer i am refering to just the enclosure, when their off. Quote »You have the popup headlights, and you run them half open during the day, because it looks 'sick'? Sounds small, white, and starchy to me.
This one hurt... :0 I have a Pivot headlight controller that, while i dont recommend people purchasing, controlls the degree of your headlights opening. i usually run them about 35% open. If you have ever seen the 180sx Silvia videos you will see that most of the cars are sleepy eyed with this same device. In theory it provides airflow directly to your cold air through the opening of the headlight. So as for white, i think you should say yellow. :)Im also having trouble finding the matrix gr motorsports home site, none of my searches are turning up... can any one help out?

Quote »Oh, I see. What difference does that make?
Well if im running around during the day with them open i dont want crusty looking headlights, im not a ricer but i want things to look good also. In my humble opinion they look way better than stock. Also, while it may be a prefference, it has function, unlike a giant wing. (well those can function but rarely do people race those cars on the track) My headlights offer way more light than stock now, at night visibility is increased greatly. I could have gotten another higher power sealed beam, or for a bit more got the matrix, which i could upgrade later with different bulbs, which i opted for. Quote »I'm familiar with the mod. Why are you doing this? I don't see a pop charger listed in your .sig. If you have the stock airbox, all the air for the intake is coming in through the snorkle underneath it
if you were familiar with the mod why did you ask me? Iv changed my sig MANY times and i simply dont have it listed like i used to, i have a k&n air filter and y box removal going on, so i dont know exactly what gain im getting but i imagine airflow is increased. The box has a chart but it isnt for my car and its entirely in japanese... Quote »It's not a war, man We're all friends here.
Then why question all of the mods? Seems to me like your trying to find things to scrutinize, why dont you post your mods so i can nitpick over everything...hmm? Or are we stock all around?

Ok im not gonna harp on any of your mods at all, mostly cause im tired and its late... :) plus we are all on the same team here. Some minor points:Quote »In fact, I gave you the benefit of the doubt when we first began talking. I assumed you were talking about how much better they lit the road; You were talking about how cool they looked when turned off.
No, no no. I merely comented on the clarity once but then that was drawn out into me explaining that i meant just looking at the things, without the light on. They do look nice and light up the road quite nicely and i recommend them for the budget minded, alot less expensive than a full conversion. My local import store quoted me around 150 i think but i found them a lot cheaper on ebay, just in case you want to look for 'em. Ok thats my last time talking about those lights heh.Quote »What's a Y box removal?
might not be the right name but thats what it looks like, just the useless box that plugs in to reduce the noise, located bellow airfilter. Increases airflow, if you havent taken it out i recommend it, there is a noticable difference.Quote »I'd rather just toss it and put in something else..... I'm leaning towards a turbo KA24DE,
Curious as to why you would choose to swap out the ka24e for the de then turbocharge it, seems a sr would be more practical? unless of course you can find a already turbocharged de for cheaper than ~2g ready to swap. I myself am leaning toward the swap, im thinking of selling my current and then buying a "fixer-upper" already SR swapped 240 that i found, still deciding. I dont know how your car is, but "dog" wouldnt describe mine now, just the other day i wooped a s14, and few civics. Granted its slow in comparison to the upper end cars, (gsr's, rsx's) but for the price i would say unbeatable. I roast local cheap ricers in the lx's. :) Also you mentioned a bike, would you be refering to a motorcylce or a bicycle? If its the first then we are more alike than it would seem...

Hey lost K, that is a strange coincidence, my first bike was a xj600 or otherwise known as the seca 2. It was a good commuter bike, i loved that thing. While not turbo charged it had good power up in the rpms. I restored all the fairing to new, and gas tank because it was scratched and faded. Then i sold it :( Now i have a 98 Honda VTR Superhawk 996. Have you driven the v twins before? It was like driving all over again, and now i prefer it over 4's. Power band is powerfull starting at 4 on up... toasty! I have raced my neighbors 911 by the way and lost pitifully. damn v8s!
