My car started sputtering when Idle and then when excellerating from a stop

I thought I got some bad gas as my car started sputtering in idle and when I accelerate. I put some Seafoam in and it seemed to help but not solve the problem. It has now been 3 weeks and 3 tanks of gas and the problem has not stopped. The service engine light is not on..but there is definately a problem. It is like the fuel line is choking.

I had a bad hesitation on acceleration. Turned out the air intake system had come apart (between the filter box and the electronic throttle control) . Once put back together, no more problems. Your problem may be different, but it's worth looking into.
