my car won't start whats wrong

i have a 90 s13 with a 97 s14 ka24de it won't start it's not getting spark the motor is converted to obd1 it's being run by 93 harness there is a lead off the positive battery terminal that looks like it goes to the alt. but it doesn't i think that may be my problem but i'm not sure does any one know where it goes. any help would be greatly appreciated

There should be three things that go to your batt +. The main cable from + to starter. A white wire from + to alternator. A white wire from + fuse box to power everything else.

so that wire is for something else it was def on the pos. cable. everything else work the car crank but its not getting spark so i'm not sure whats going on i put a blaster coil on it. i'm at a lost.

So you have a sohc car, dohc s13 harness, s14 ka? Are you on a s13 igniter and coil setup? Do you have power to the coil when the key is on? What ecu are you using? Do you have any codes?

yes it a sohc car with a dohc harness and s14ka. it has a s13 dizzy. s13 igniter and a msd blaster coil and a 28 ecu chipped by emance as far i can tell the coil is not getting power

Get your multi meter out and see what's going on. If it doesn't have 12 v with key on then start with diagnosing that.

I did that no power to the coil

Do you have power to the igniter?
