If your car shakes during idle and sound like a VW Bug and a knockoff muscle car then its one of your injectors.

Ok it shakes at idle nutral and low rpms at first. once you begine driving its pretty smooth. I also put some lucas injector cleaner, and seafoamed 2 months ago. so ya.

check your plugs, injectors, do a compression test. it could be a couple of things. i had a problem where when i would try to accelrate at low rpm the engine almost felt like it was cutting on and off. i replaced the plugs and wires and it was solid again. also check your plugs to help diagnose your injectors and see how your fuel is burning

These cars eat injectors. Also check the Ohms resistance to spec on your spark plug wires. Pull your plugs after running for about 10 minutes at about 50 mph. If the plug is wet or smells like gas it could be the resistance build-up in older spark plug wires. If it's dry, more likely an injector is shot.

here I circled mine, passenger side of car next to valve cover, which mine is off

make sure its connected good, like start it up, leave it running... wiggle wires, connector, push on connector.. see if it helps..... find an injector at the junkyard and try it on the #4 cylinder if that doesn't help... usually a bad fuel injector will cause a NASTY vibration... happened to me, was wiring loose.....

yeah like gently touch the wires with a finger or two and move them around

push down on the connector going to the fuel injector.....

the clutch fan is that big white fan

you can take it off completely and replace with an electric fan....... thats the best way

it makes that hideous noise, so its working hard.... take it off and it will be a lot more quiet and you will be able to hear the actual engine better

search around here for how to wire up an electric fan

damn near anything from a junkyard will work that fits in the space.. you can get fans from a junkyard for like 15 bucks........

also you need to fix that exhaust leak.... jack it up

leave it running get under car.... if you can't hear where its comming from....... start running your hands about 1-2" away from exhaust... don't touch the actual piping as its hot.. and when you get to the exhaust leak, you should feel air blowing into your hand.......

single cam FTW

to take off the fan is very easy!

I believe they are 10mm nuts, maybe 12mm

best to use a gearwrench if you have one:

you will notice 4 nuts on the water pump pulley that has the clutch fan attached to them.... you will take off those 4 nuts, take off fan assembly, then put back on the 4 nuts equally and space out how you tighten them as you will have to straighten out the water pump pulley..... it has tension on it from the belt so when you loosen all the nuts it will c*** to one side a bit.......just tighten down the bolts like your tightening wheel lug nuts and it will straighten back out normally.........

takes like 2 minutes

need to take out fan shroud....... thats a lil more work......... but I think some 10's around the radiator area and on the side of the shroud remove it.....

Before you start pulling fuel injectors and possibly wasting your time and money, first do the proper diagnostic steps to determine where your bad cylinder(s) is. Here's what you do:- while the motor is idling, pull one plug wire, off then back on, at a time. When the wire is off, observe the idle quality. Does it get worse or is there no change. If there's no change, you've got a bad cylinder.- At the bad cylinder, determine if there's ignition. Plug in a spare spark plug into the ignition wire end and lay the plug on it's side on top of the valve cover. Start the motor up and see if you've got spark.- If you've got spark, then the fuel injector may be bad or there's an electrical problem or there's no fuel reaching the injector.

The instructions they gave out are all pretty easy stuff. You should not have bought a 240sx if you do not know or have the money to fix it they aren't Honda Civics you know.

Its because the s13 doesn't like you! Now go put a SR in it along with some Nismo mounts and it should stop making a ruckus. hahaha

You have to over come the power and show the s13 who's boss or it will not show you it's true form.
