I just got a call from my dealer letting me know that my car arrived this morning in good condition. It's being inspected, gassed, and prepped now which will take a few hours. Today's going to be a really busy day because I'm having an alarm installed, I'm installing my Kenwood head unit along with a tuner and antenna, installing my GPS antenna, and changing the oil. I'm only changing the oil because she's being put out on the road tomorrow and I won't be able to change it on my 2500 mile journey. It's going to be a long night.

Congrats on the new V, Proxim2020!!!! Your timing is perfect!! You will still have that grin on your face when the 2500 miles are over. "Awe, home so soon!"

And now we won't hear from Proxim for about a week, because he'll be too busy breaking in the V. :P

Thanks all. She's been broken in now. She has 2600 miles on her and she's only 4 days old..lol. We didn't experience any major problems or issue on the way up here to Canada. We did have a weird error pop up on two different occasions. The "Service Engine Soon" light flashed for about 30 seconds on 2 different days. My wife looked up the code in the manual and it said that a misfire was detected or a malfunction in the emissions control. The first time the light came on, we were riding through Mississippi with the A/C. I took my foot off the gas and turned off the A/C then the light went away. The second time, was after getting on the highway. I decided to stretch the V's legs a little going up a hill and shortly after we got the flash again. I'm thinking that the light came on because V was lugging a little bit during those times. But I'm not sure. The light hasn't come on since.

All and all, she's a great little car. I especially enjoyed it's stability in corners. We had the pleasure of taking some twisties while going through New York. The stock speakers aren't the best, but they definitely get the job done. After configuring the audio in the HU, the speakers sound better. We also enjoyed how quiet the car was on the highway. When he first got it, I pulled to a stop light and scared myself. I heard myself breathe . I've never heard myself breathe before in my truck (HEMI with a FlowMaster exhaust). A lot of people complain about the engine being buzzy, but I enjoy it. It makes shifting by ear much easier. Well that's all I have for now. I'm sure I'll think of something else to post.
