Ok, so after 2 years without my car (1in the paint shop-1 for the motor) I finnaly got her going. Her Birthday was on the 12th. I cant get this stupid grin off my face, you guys know what I'm talking about! I got my fuel rail from Jeff at HT and she started right up! SDS is working great so far. Im so stoked!

The turbo isnt hooked up as of yet but she runs!! I drove it around the block 30 times tonight, no exhaust, no insurance or plates, or I would take her out. Shes going to the exhaust shop tomorow. I gona use a DSM side mount for now, unless anyone else has something better for sell!

Im soo happy, congradulate me guys!

Shaved: blinkers, antena, side molding all the way around car.New interior trim and carpet.

Mods so far.

Thanks guys, no the sds was the easiest thing I'v ever done to the car. It fired right up, its cool, I can monitor every aspect of the motor while its running. It ran at a cool 167 degrees for 45 min last night just crusin in second.

I'll get pics, can someone host?

Did u have a base map for the SR for the SDS? And how much do they cost? Cheaper then Motec, Haltec, or AEM?

The SDS was 1200 for everything, fast idle, rpm switch, 3 bar map. And yes the sds website site has a base map for the sr20det at 7psi thank god.

Today I ran a pipe from the turbo to the intake, im gheto, no bov, ouch, im only reving to 4ooo for now for break in, so the turbo should be fine. I have a type s but no intercooler for now.

I will try to get some pics to you.

Thanks everyone

Does the SDS completly replace the SR ECU? Or do you keep it run a few things?

Wow 2 freakin years. Congratulations for being so patient !

Good things come to those who wait.

My car should be done anyday now, after a long time ( not as long as you ).

By the way, It sounds like the SDS can manage boost? What exactly do you use to hook up to the SDS and access all the info? A laptop?

No, the sds does not work as a boost controler, it does read out boost in psi though, so no need for a gauge. If you go to the web site, you'll see the little cheesy control unit for it, no laptop or data loging, which makes it way easier to tune.

Ryan where are my pics?
