MY CAR KEEPS DYING!!!!

every time i come to a stop my car just dies.... i dont know if its the fuel injectors/fuel filter but some one said maybe its the gear box? i dont know i just need a good opion...

compression

check to make sure you got em

sounds like you could have a vacuum leak.

I had this problem at one point. The first two things we checked were the MAF, and the gaskets. I think i ended up having a blown gasket ( i don't remember which one) and it would cause the engine to stall whenever i took my foot off the gas. Check that out, if it's just a gasket it should be a relatively cheap fix.

+1 for MAFS... try unplugging it.. cleaning it up and such.

and second.. did you put an aftermarket intake on? .. if so.. it's possible one of the hoses popped off causing the car to die. that happend to me.. just had to reclamp it and all was well.

check ALL your vacuum lines. im fairly sure this is the problem.

1. check your maf2. check your spark plugs, it might foul out.

fuel filter would also cause that. I would change that first since it is so cheap and easy to do.

beside of purchasing a oe fuel pump...rather get a walbro 255. a better response.

hi guys Im having the exact same problem only thmy fuel filter is new my fuel pump is working and I have cleaned the throttle and the maf sensor but only one thing is buggin me why if I disconnect the maf sensor it idles good and if I connect it it dies i disposed of all the emission hoses exept for the one that goes into the fuel pressure reg all the other ones ive plug the tight. SO any suggestions???
