Thanks i thought it was to bad to fix,but my dad told me im dumb and if i give him a parts car 400 bucks and all the supplies he will do everything and show me how(He had his own bodyshop).Still need to post pics. The idiot never hit the brakes rear ended me doing 45mph and slammed me into the car in front of me. Funny thing is that he was on dealer plates so he probably lost his job and it was 100% his fault plus the police wrote him a ticket for following too closely. Sad part is that we had just finished doing the body work on the right rear and needed to do just a little more for me to paint it. But it is a very safe car to get hit in!!!!

Wow, I am surprised a collision like that is repairable. No air bags deployed or crease in the hood?

Get the FSM so you can check all the measurements. And buy your Dad something special when you are finished.

My biggest fear. Sorry you are going through it. Why not let his insurance total it out, then buy it from them as a parts car and pick up another Q? You can part it on the infiniti board after you're done picking through it for what you need.

Crease in the hood a little bit but fixable by bending then welding a little reinforcement in.Found a 95 q in long island that i can get a rear clip from for 400 bucks and new headlight. Just emailed the pics to wes hopefully he'll post em soon.My dad has already started to work his magic so it looks nothing like what it looks like when it got hit.

Same here. You need a qurter panel or a whole back end. Then you just might get another one thet use this for parts.

Thanks for all the support.I already started pulling it back but its pretty bad. I talked to someone in long island that will sell me a raer clip for 400 so i think its worth it.3000 dollar check minus 400 than supplies and paying my dad and ill still have money left over.I'm not selling anything though sorry.Rubdog if you want when i go down to look at that car i can see if he has the fog lights and pick em up if you need one. Let me know because im goin by the end of next week. The way its looking though should only be down for another couple weeks

You really don't want to do that as it is designed to crumple in a crash. Be a shame if the hood came through the windshield and decapitated you because hood didn't crumple as designed. Get another.

So insurance gave you 4700 for a 94 Q? Did they total it or just agree to repair it for that amount? That's alot more than I thought it would be worth to an insurance company.

Wanna hear something nuts? I got $6840 for a totalled 1993 240sx hatchback from my insurance company, without any sort of negotiations. If anything happens to my Q, I am going to be a millionaire.

They totaled it and me and my father repaired it.It has a salvage title so i wont really be able to sell it for much.It runs fine and ran fine after the accident so i couldn't let it go. I still have 1300 left over after fixing it and got Springs,FUPCA,struts, sway bar, knock sensors,Tension rods, and wheels and tires for FREE!!!!

I think its amazing the dedication this kid had in fixing his Q45. I didn't have nearly that much damage to my E320 and decided not to fix it. I guess it helps to have a pops that can get the work done. But wow non the less impressive. I will say this. If I fixed my Mercedes I wouldn't have purchased my Q45 so I guess I came up, because the money to fix the Mercedes went straight to buying the Q45 the weekend I was to have the Mercedes towed to body shop.

He means He added the letter A depite the fact that the Q is a base model or a T.
