My car is Totaled...

hey whats up guys...today, i totaled my car. i rear ended an SUV (which got NO damage), and my front is screwed, along with the cross support, etc. its pretty bad. However, the motor isn't hurt, it just got moved a bit. nothing is wrong. i will be parting out some stuff. i still have my rims, motor, intercooler is completely fine, carbon fiber strut bar, interior, racing seats, TV, stereo. but anyways, i'm still in a shock a little bit, and i figured that seeing as you guys could possibly feel my pain, i vent here. SO farewell to my 240sx...it was a great car.p.s. it was gonna be sold wednesday...

That's horrible. Not only did we lose a 240, but it was about to be sold. Yeesh. I'm sorry to hear that. Glad you walked out of it O.K. though.

BTW, what year was your car? I might take you up on that parting it out offer.

sorry to hear that, but like others said, atleast you're ok, and so is the motor which is another plus, what kind of car are u looking into getting in place of the ol 24o?

it was a 95...there is a link to the pics (before) the wreck. but for the guys that know me, my motor is completely fine $$ we'll see how it goes when the insurance company checks it out.

Ouch that sucks. I thought i was in a bad position with a bad transmission, tensioner problem, etc. Sorry about the car. And I wish you luck trying to find another 240. Nick

if the engine is fine, then it shouldn't need to be totaled right? it can still run right?

ya but the extent of the damage done compared to the blue book of the car will be a close one. regardless of which, i will just take the insurance money if its not totaled and just part the whole thing out. COMPLETELY. if it is totaled, then same thing. anyways, if i was still into all this stuff, i'd easily do a s15 conversion. then i'd be complete. this would be the PERFECT time. but i'm not wanting to spend any more money cuz i am getting a bmw 3 series. thanks a lot guys. i'll still be on.

that sucks man, your car was absolutely beautiful. Hopefully it works out so that you can do the s15 conversion and sell it for more or something. It's a sad day in the world of 240s

I hate suv's a lady in a suburban totaled my first 240 cause she was messing with her baby. Her burb had only minor damage. She rearended me going 45-50 when I was at a dead stop she never even hit the brakes. We should start an suv hate club.
