I bought my 92 240sx se about a month and ah alf ago and got it a month ago, for some reason it took forever to get a head gasket and stuff, but finally the head is on and its running. sadly Im at work, and my car is just sitting waiting for me to come and drive her :(

The bad part is, I coulda drove her, but instead I decide to run by the currency exchange and get the title in my name finally. Sadly the guy that sold it to me, bought it and didnt switch it into his name, something that I previosly overlooked. Thankfully he did send a bill of sale, and probably I just have to go directly through a DMV instead of a currency exhange. Hopefully i dont have to find a lawyer :(

Ha, I have the exact same delimma! My S14 has been down for several months after a cam swap gone bad, and just as of today it's fully fixed and back on the road...and here I am at work.

Blah. But happily, I did drive it here, so it's at least out in the parking lot waiting for me. :D

Yah, but your car is legal :(

Im gonna have to throw my spare civic plate on my 240 :(

I know I could just wait and drive the civic, but uh... why? Also everymonday is half off night at the local pizza spot, and all my freinds go, so it would be cool to debut my car, you know.. get everyone jealous :)

Its ok though, worst case scenerio I end up having to get a lawyer (not that the guy that sold me the car is contesting my ownership of it, but the dmv might be asses) or I could get lucky and the currency exchange will do it for me. They say that the guy that does all this crap is in on wendsdays, so I just gotta go see if they will do it for me wendsday. If not, then Ill go visit the DMV, and if they wont do it, then I gotta pay some damn lawyer like 200$ to do it. I have the bill of sale which is a watermarked official document from south carolina, so I shouldnt have to go to this extent, hopefully.

nah, giordanos, famous chicago stuffed pizza. I got to drive the 240 though, it almost overheated, I didnt htink much of hte fans squeeking, figured I would fix them i nthe morning, then I loo kat the temp gauge, and its on super hot heh. I shot hte car off, and waited about an hour, then drove it and didnt rev it like crazy, so the belts didnt get out torqued. It did fine, so the car doesnt overheat, just bad belts **PHEW!**

All I need is new belts, and a shift knob.. oh, and I need to clear up an issue with the title :(
