Taxes are in and im getting a killer of a deal on a paint job. $300 for labor but I have to buy the paint so I been debating between blue or silver. I decided blue. So can anyone recommend a good place to buy paint? I was looking at http://www.paintforcars.com and was thinking of getting a kit.

Im stuck between http://www.paintforcars.com/kits_5star_sappbluemet.html and http://www.paintforcars.com/kits_5star_mdnghtblue.html

What do you guys think, I love feedback

Actually I wouldnt mind Mirabeau Blue, the Hyundai Genesis blue or something similar

Personally I'd go as dark as possible but that's me. I think my Acura is something like Nighthawk Black which as some blue in it. It looks pretty cool but is definitely more black than blue.

I personally dont trust those kits, the reason is the price, quality paint is not cheap, my base coat cost me more than that at dupont, but the colors are nice. The first blue would be my pic.

Yeah I read reviews about them and they arent any good. Hmm I dont know what paint brand to go with. I guess I'll goto a Sherwin Williams place or something. On a side note, how much paint should I buy? Im looking at Dupoint paint

I always go to Sherwin williams for my paint. They have different qualities in different price ranges, but everything they sell is good stuff.

When I painted my vert the last time, I only used about half a gallon. It actually comes out to quite a bit more after you mix in the reducer/hardener. This was also for a basecoat/clearcoat, not single stage.

I always buy a gallon just to be on the safe side. Nothing worse than painting a car and running out half way through

If you go to Sherwin Williams, you can also give them a paint code from just about any car and they'll mix it up.
