My exhaust was leaking. Originally I ordered an after market cat-back (it is lost in OH, dang DHL). Anyways I took the cat back off waiting for my new one to arrive. Today I put the original cat-back on, NO LEAK. It sounds perfect now. Took it for a test drive and now when I break the car will idle really low and then die. Please help.

I'm sure it has nothing to do with your exhaust, you might have disturbed something else in the process but exhaust won't mess with idle quality
