My car is dying

I got stuck in a snow bank today. The only way I got out was to rock it back and forth until i broke free. Soon afterward everything started to act weird. My car died at the first light. I started it back up, and it died again. It began to run after I gave it more gas and holding it. When driving along I notice my car was reading 30mph but I know I was going alot slower than that. There was a burning smell and my car was only reving up to 3000 rpm with the gas all the way down. The car choked even with the clutch held down. When I start up the car in gear the car keeps alive for a few second without holding on the clutch. I really need some help with this car problem and my FOB grammer^.
