problem with fitment here ........ still debating whether I should get that bottom middle section painted blk.

The problem is this place already told me in the 1st place they won't guarantee the fitment so i'm stuck!. The only hope left is to bring it to Stillen or if Blake comes to OC he might be able to help me figure out why it's not fitting up correctly. I'll be getting it home tomorrow coz they drained the coolant out and haven't put it back and they also need to get an alignment done on it as well.

scared to get this bumper becasue of fitment problems...rather have a stock bumper that is perfect fitted, then a aftermarket one that has a ugly gap

Looks very nice, have them spray those ac lines and lower radiator with alittle black. Also the lip should have been unpainted but since they did I would paint that black too..

We've been emailing back and forth, I'm working to have Johnny come in to look at the installation, and see what's going on with the kit, this is the first fitment issue of this type we've seen, I'm confident we'll determine the issue..

Digging the color scheme! Especially with the white.. a little silver, a little black.. Not one I thought of!

Looks nice Johnny_D! Digging the color scheme. Sucks that your having a fitment problem. I know when they installed mine they took off everything (impact padding, plastic fingers,) off and they also had to cut off a real little piece of the bumper bar, at the bottom corner at an angle. It sucks you couldn't be there during the install.

I did that at first too but with running on the highway and all teh road grime up here in PA, that black paint chipped right off. I'm sure being in Sunny Cali, Johnny-D won't have the issues that we have.

looks ok or whatever, but since there are not many bodykits or aftermarket parts for A/C ppl gonna be like "is that the v6? or spec. edition?" since a few coupes are getting this front. I like the orignal better. lol and is it me, or when the car is in certain colors it looks more ROUND? this car looks round in front, while the red one looks more angular, which i like better.

hmmm looks like they didnt fit that ridge inside correctly. If you look in the hole you can see a positive bump on the lower half and a negaitve hole on the top piece (or vise versa). Those have to align together so that it can bolt together properly. If those dont line up now, im sorry to say that it has to be taken apart again and realigned from the beggining...However, if its not a molding fault, it is the shops fault. We bolted is together perfectly with no problems. If those guys didn't follow the instructions, thats on them. Threaten them with the BBB if they do not comply

dude i think it looks really good. and is it fiberglass? cause most fiberglass kits require some work to fit and i dont mean just bolting up im talking about gettin the material of ur choice and adding/sanding what night. if u want it to look hardcore pro that is, but i honestly think it doesnt look that bad. also i think it looks good with the lip the same color as the rest

The fit does look severely off, but it's not something that can be noticed unless one knows what to look for...

When installed my fascia, I bolted the two pieces of the bumper myself. It took me and entire Saturday to align, bolt together, and test fit the bumper, but it came out very precise. I then took it off and took it to a paint shop as a complete bumper, not two pieces. This saved money as well as guaranteeing a nice fit.

As my above post stated, it could have been any number of problems, no ones fault yet directly

I think I found something that may help fix at least 1 of the fitment issue. Will give that a shot later ......... Anyway I think my car looks pretty good right now esp from far away hehe. Going up on drive way I have about 1/2 inch clearance creeping up slowly so there goes my days of speeding up onto the driveway

I'll take better pix tomorrow. Had some pics but got glares in there. This one got some dirty background so i just quickly blurred the bg up

I like the look... is the black painted at all? im getting the feeling its more of a flat look than the shine of the paint... i dig the scheme though and like how you cant see the crap behind it... looks like you got the fitment straightened out....pimp it man!

I still have the hood gap, forgot what to do about it but i'll find that thread or Blake can chime in

no fitment problem, only the tape that hols a few areas together coming undone.

Johnny, I have the same hood gap i believe. At any rate, the hood gap in the stock bumper and my STILLEN fascia are exactly the same

I am not sure it is normal or not. But I was at Stillen today and Josh showed the Stillen AC, and the middle part does have a little sagging.

I actually remedied the sagging a long time ago. If you look at the top of the fascia, top slot, in the middle there are 2 clips that hold the fascia to the body. I think the mold is off for these 2 drilling points. Therefore, inserting the clips pull the middle down to far. I took mine out, pulled up the fascia, and reinserted the clips. Worked like a charm
