My car is creaking

Everytime i go up a slope or down a slope, or over some bumps, my car starts making a creaking sound from somewhere. No idea where. Anyone else have this problem? Is this covered under warranty?

Just make sure it's not something in your trunk or within the car cabin causing it. I had a knock real bad and found out it was a roll of electrical tape rolling around in the trunk lol!

If it's a creak it may be a suspension part but it's hard to tell. Go find a speed bump and get someone else to listen for it too.

i think you're having the rear bumper noise that a lot of people are experiencing.

i dont believe there's any fixes for it, or not that i know of. I have it and i talked to dangeris couple days ago, he told me he hears it too. I've had it for a couple months now and I'm pretty used to it honestly. It really bothered me before though.

I know exactly what you're talking about. In fact, I started a thread about it a few months ago. The problem, as toxik said, hasn't been resolved as of yet...

I reseated my rear springs and it seemed to help for about five minutes. Normally the sound doesn't bother me, but when I'm driving down one of the alleys downtown it echoes like a mofo...pretty damn embarrassing really.

Are you sure the squeak is coming from something on the car itself (ie. suspension) or could it just be your seat? I know my seat squeaks like hell too (on top of the suspension noises!)...

Hmm. my seats in the back squeak a bit when you just sit on them, but I dont think that is whats causing the squeaking. It seems like its coming from the back, but i have no idea where. Good to know im not the only one then!

Fair enough. It's the driver's seat that squeaks for me, as well as the rear suspension. I've looked it over and the noise is definitely coming from the rear...

Tell me, do you have any suspension mods? ie. springs, swaybar, endlinks, etc?

i get a creak every now an then when i take tight turns goin fast....- but thats from my moonroof lol....

Perhaps I shall get some springs first to solve my problem! Haha but yea I don't want to void warranty yet.
