My car idles funny please help!

Okay I took out the AIV awhile ago and my car started to run smoother but now it runs funny after I put in a air intake cone and kind of bogs under 3,000 rpm which I think might be normal because of the intake.

What happens is most of the time when I start the car and I don't let it warm up yet and just start to drive. The car would stalls out or the rpm drops down and stall if I'm lucky it goes right back up from stalling with the red light and goes back to normal. When I drive the car and come to a stop the rpm goes down to like 400 or 500 then goes back up to 700, 800 or 900. What is up with this? Oh yeah I bought the car and it did this since the first day I got it.

an air intake cone.....did u put the maf back on?

i looked at my battery terminal hook up and they are crack so its on there loosely. Would this effect this problem?

Doh..i didnt read all of your first post.... I took out the AIV also....OUR CARS HAVE TO WARM UP...that was the whole point of the AIV...lol. I let my car warm up at least 5 minutes before i go. In cold weather i have to let it warm up longer.
