i was driving this morning to drop my car to get the windows tinted, and i was coasting in neutral, braked to a almost stop, and my engine died! i wachted the rpm's drop to 0 and went  im thinking, wtf happened!

i usually have an erratic idle unless im running ac or have the headlights on. this morning i had no fan and no lights. all i did was brake in neutral and it died on me! i looked like an idiot started it up again when i came to a complete stop. ANY help is appreciated.

thanx!

visual check. Spray wd-40 on them and if it helps your idle you have a vacuum leak somewhere

My neighbor has a windstar that had the original spark plugs in that were supposed to have a gap of .04 or what ever and they were like .125. Believe me when I say it had a crazy idle and it would die. Just an idea. Also my dad's Saturn's alternator went out and it had a really bouncy idle and would die all over the place before we replaced it. This doesn't sound like your problem though. Maybe check air filter even if you haven't lately. Just curious but, what makes you think vacuum? Did you take something apart or something?
