My car delays to start sometimes.

Whats up peeps? What the hell is wrong with my car? When I turn the key in the ignition to start it, it delays on me and then it starts. But this isnt always, only sometimes. Can you guys help me out?:help

mine does that too sometimes... I usually just pump the gas a few times, and it starts....even tho it has EFI....

You need to be more specific. When does it happen? Engine warm or cold? Does the engine crank lots of times before it starts? How many times? What is your mileage like? What have you replaced? etc..

check put my question on electrical problems....that is what started happening to me was a delay start. Now I am to the point of it not starting at all. we have come to the conclusion that it is electrical & probably in the ignition, but I am at a loss after that......

Check the battery terminals - mine did that right after I finished the swap - did not have the terminals tight

Ok. My milage is 146k and the only thing that I have changed on it has been my air filter and an oil change and I also changed my spark plugs. Thats it so far. And it happens when its cold, its funny though cuz this morning and through out the day it has not delayed on my at all. It happens every so often.
