my car creeks

yeah, so my car creeks everytime i steer all the way, left or right. as if metal will fling off if i go another inch. would this be the tie rods? if it is, i just read that tein tie rods were good. anyone have any other input with good tie rods i can purchase?

Sounds like the Power steering pump to me, open the hood and have a friend turn the wheel, then try to find it by sound - I bet that's it.

If the car is older, it might be your bushings. Is ti creeking loud, or is it squeek / squeeling? It could be your power steering unit, or it could just need some conditioner, or perhaps it's low on fluid.

One more thing to look at...the bearing on the top of your front struts that allows them to turn can make a creaking/squeaking sound when you turn. Mine does it now but I don't have the cash to fix it at the moment.

Alright guys here are the possibilities:

Tie rods (inner/outer)Strut mountsBall Joint on Control arm (<-I'm guessing that this is what the problem is)

You can get a new control arm with the ball joint installed (installing would require a press) from http://www.pdm-racing.com for about $60 shipped.

mine is s14 and it started making that noise after the little accident i had with curbs... i guess the body shop didn't fix it right or didn't replace all the bad parts...

mine just started makining popping noises during like 3rd gear entry drifts so... whatever man! gl with yours.
