Rebuilt the Q45 up front due to me ordering the 26mm Z caliper for the front instead of the 30mm so im waiting to find a good deal on 30mm alum. Oh and you forgot the Aluminum uprights from the Z32

Never understood what "fap" stood for... And im scared to ask seeing as how people are repeating it in sentences. That's never good.

Your car looks great! Fix that front bumper and you would have a better shape coupe then half of nico

EDIT: nvm, I saw that coils weren't one of the new things

i should be getting about $2000 soon, im torn between coils or something a lil more power adder like....

with the Z32 suspension in the rear she sits higher than i want... i could cut more out of the rear spring to make her sit level again but the front is as low as she's gunna get without coils....

edit: also the bumpers are getting paint soon.

edit 2: i was also thinking of holding off on paint ( doing it myself ) and buying my s13.4 conversion parts....

i got big plans and small pockets

Why not? Lowering springs accomplish the same thing as what I've done only they cost more. My car rides fine, handles fine....

I know what fapping is.

And the only reason I cut the springs is that the ultimate goal is coilovers and I just don't see paying for lowering springs just to replace em.

The cars come a long way since I got her, she was stock automatic. Only got her maybe last september and since then she has gotten a fresh s14 ka, 5speed swap, welded diff, q45 brakes then z32 brakes, z32 aluminum uprights.

I'm really torn on spending the next $2000 or so on more suspension or on either a turbo set up or purchasing an rb motor.

Now as I see it there are a bunch of cars at the local 240 meet. Most have coilovers already.... a lot have sr swaps, couple ka-t, and a lot more na ka guys. Really no one is rockin a rb swap

pick up a set of stance for around 1300. Or maybe you can score a used pair in good shape if u look around at a local JDM shop or w/e. The difference between coils and lower springs is night and day in terms of handling. Plus theyre not an original item thats meant to set your car apart from others, like an original engine swap? People buy them because of function and practicality. Worry about power when u have enough cash to buy all the parts, so u dont have to start swapping then wait for s*** to arrive. Most annoying thing ever.

Trust me these people are being nice. On my old bimmer site I used to go to, if you even though about doing something stupid even the mods were bashing you. Plain and simple, cut springs are something you don't do and from what I've heard it can even be dangerous. Stay at 4x4 status so you're motivated to do it right hopefully, little late now though.

^ Exactly, it is one of the most unsafe modifications to a car. Be smart and throw down some money for coilovers. By the way I'm throwing up a bulls*** flag for the "it rides the same" comment. No way in hell your car rides the same on cut springs.

Car looks clean, I live the 5 Lug SE's on the car. Looks good.I spy Z32 Rear brakes, does your E-brake work?

Im not a fan of the cut springs, but it does make the appearance of your car a lot better. I'd recommend coilovers as soon as possible. Cut springs sometimes aren't safe to drive on. I knew a few people who got in a accident because of them.

This is just like the welded diff debate, ppl who heard its bad vs ppl that have done it and like it...

I don't see the danger. And I don't mind the flag on ride quality but I drive it and like it, I had a guy with coils ask me what kinda coils I had.... just cut stock springs with kyb shocks
