So my love for this little motor has increased over the last couple years plenty. I started with it being a fun street/daily car and figured I would give it a go as a drift car. TONS of people immediately gave it the thumbs down locally, and all over TX for that matter, saying the CA wouldn't hold up. A few people I personally knew actually gave it the benefit but still said, "You sure it's gonna last?" I figured I would be ok since I had a daily and if I blew it sky high I could still get back to work no problem and figure something out after. Well, 2 turbos later and now going for the big turbo/injector/cam/etc upgrade I'm thinking now is the time if there ever was one.

To this day, 165 across the board exactly no a single PSI difference. Stock bottom end with knife edged crank, cusco lightweight flywheel, RPS 6puck unsprung.

HKS SSQV, never recirc'd always vented, never a problem.

About 8k there

This and a couple more from a local highschool demo teaching kids they CAN do this, but ONLY in a controlled environment under proper instruction. WE help you build it, WE teach you, WE provide you venues to have fun safely, and legally. It was a huge hit, and 2 other schools contacted us about it.

I'll post more pics if interested, don't wanna bore you guys if not

There's only a couple videos of my car that day as everything was so hectic we were looking more for good stills for our cards, flyers, posters, etc. We are going to hire a professional to video us and have individual DVDs as well as a group DVD for the shop and sponsorship considerations.

I love you Rico, it's like I can just think the idea and you come with answers. But yes, a select few of which there isn't a point to name names, but I'm sure you can think who would say such things. It did however pull a couple KA-Ts and hold up against a few tandem runs with a built VQ and 2 S14 SRs. One of the latter making a little over 300WHP.. Granted he just had more power, but we held a decent tandem.

I'm going for GT28R, 600CC Tomei Top Feeds, and maybe the Tomei 256 cams. Whaddya think bud?

And the love is appreciated. All should love teh Rico.

I feel your pain dude, im the ONLY CA drift car in my area. Everything is RB this SR that, few KAT's. Going on 2 years strong with the little devil and i am only awaiting my ECU from Autrailia to match the MAF and injector currently waiting in my garage.

IMO 600's are to big for the t2 turbo
