ok i fixed all problems with codes now i get code 55 = ok now, but i still have issues with driveability, while im driving and floor it it feels like it bogs down and misfires, tried adjusting time no matter how much i move its same more misfire when advanced and more boging when retarded, the tps no matter where i move it only idles when its fully forward, and only half way up, it changes only like 2 stages is this normal i dont think it is.i have no IAC cuz it was broken aned didnt have a new one just caped hoses and made block off plate, car will not idle under 1k and it bucks and bogs while driving what other sensors contribute to the load part of the engine.

Is it okay to floor it when your still trying to work out the problems and what not? And especially if its recently installed in the car.Sounds like your maf (air). If you have stock injectors and running walbro fuel pump, it might be that issue (fuel). Grounding or wiring (electical).

hmm i dont know if timing belt is right on, some tech did it when i took to him to try to fix it he said it was one tooth off but i dont know, i dont think its a wiring problem cuz i get no codes, ar regulator works fine, but the tps makes a loud buzzing sound when ever the car is running, i dont know why but ive tried 2 diff ones and does same thing, is there a plug that can fit the tps but isnt for the tps? liek a switcharu, anyways i dont think its maf, its a stock 3 wire one and no codes, revs, and when i tap on sesnro doesnt sputter or die or anything

you cannot acurately set timing from the loop you need to picup a signal from coilpack no.1

Well, the ECU will only throw a few codes. There are other parts to the system that the ECU does not check (MAF, CAS, DR, igniter, etc) that can go bad without the ECU telling you. You are having some sort of timing/fuel issue, so like stated before, make sure the timing belt is spot on (it is a B@#%H to get right), and check your CAS as well.

And never use the loop. I use a spark plug wire from my girlfriend's car, attach one end to the plug, tape the other end to the coil, and use that to set the timing.

As the others have said, you can't set the timing right with the loop. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Remove the first coilpack, tape a plug wire to it and connect the other end to the sparkplug. Then check your timing. If the CAS is not pretty much in the middle, you've got the belt on wrong. If it is in the middle then that is alright and you've got another problem.

DL the FSM from the link in the sticky. In there you will find information on how to check the ignitor. These commonly go bad and could cause the symptoms you are having as well.

When I was off by 1 TOOTH, I had to max out the CAS to get it to run in any shadow of ok. That is a good indicator Ryan. Good call.

ok re did timing, set it using a sprk plug wire from my honda, timing was 1 notch off fixed it still same.... no matter what i do it doesnt seem to run right, no codes, removed IAC, un hooked air regulator ( doesnt have trouble starting cold) and i adjusted the tps, but it makes a buzzing sound is that normal? i have a nother ignitor i will try them both. do injectors go bad often on these? also whats stock boost on these and do they hold that boost till redline?

Is the CAS set in the middle of it's adjustment range? If so, I would check the ignitor next.
