my ca project

aight guy, first off, love my z. but the build on it is on hold. i've been researching for a while now and i want a ca. i downed the sr for the simple fact that everyone has one. i looked at the rb26 or rb30 and building a stroker. i've chosen the ca because of the lack of interest around these parts (nc/sc) and i've read a whole lotta good things bout this lil workhorse motor. i've never done a swap but i do have good ol southern backup and the mad scientist + you guys. i think i'm in good hands and if i have questions (and didn't find anwsers in the FAQ or archives) i know where to come. any comments and advice are welcome.

hey man you shouldnt have too much trouble seeing how there are 17 year olds on here that are doing or have done the swap as in me and some other... ....but non the less welcome to nico and enjoy the swap and be patient....very very patient.....

found a running 89 240 in sc...has a "loud knock", going to look at it this weekend.

the plan is to buy a front clip, do all the motor work while prepin the shell, do the swap and have enough power to take down the mad scientist's evil 3rd gen rx7

update: scratch that, my just broke today . the crank pully is bent and is gringing somthing. havin a hard time finding a new one, prolly just use the one off my wife's z.
