Last night I left me car in a parking lot and one of my friends picked me up. When I got back someone hit my back bumper and cracked my back bumper as well as cracked my tail light. As well as my front bumper got messed up somehow.

I was wondering if you guys think I should get the regular nissan front bumper and back bumper or if I should get an after market body kit. Does anyone know where I can buy the aftermarket tail lights.

If you were eventually planning to get an aftermarket kit, then now is a good time.

Before you go replacing the front and rear bodywork (unless you want to anyway), contact a good bodyshop - there are ways to repair the plastic panels that are quite effective. If they are badly shattered then, yes, you will be better off replacing them but minor cracks and such CAN be repaired. If they need to be replaced, go aftermarket - Nissan's prices will kill you.

I would deffiently like to get a body kit with the money I get from insurance. But I was wondering what were some of the types of kits out there.

Can't comment on the rear, but for the front, check out the http://stillen.com offering.

We all are, but the reality is that we are a pretty small market. Worse, our cars aren't viewed as being the most likely to be modified with aftermarket parts. It's an Altima! A few companies, like Stillen, have seen the potential of the A/C and have graced us with some good add-ons. Being a relatively new car hasn't helped either. New stuff keeps coming but the trickle is slow.

Yeah I hadn't been on the forum for several months and I was expecting atleast several body kits to be out but instead it is still only the ones on the Stillen Website.

Nah... It's the labor that kills you. The stock bumper is only $273.38 cause I replaced mine (compared to Stillen's $634.94). Of course, the Stillen one is on sale for $499 right now and it looks better as a whole but I'm also rocking the T-Rex grille that Infantry so wonderfully introduced and I find it more to my liking that way.

I think the opposite. Like Ferguson said, remember, it is an altima. but we have numerous full body kits, lip kits, exhausts, intakes, a couple grille options, many suspension mods, spoilers, a turbo kit, pulleys, headers ready soon, headlight options coming from stillen, etc, and this car came out last year!!!!!!!

I am extremely pleased with the options that are out for such a new car.

I've got an OEM front bumper-- dark slate but you can repaint and install... come pick it up in Collegeville, PA and don't pay any shipping. Shoot me an email if interested. djmaxentropy(AT)gmail.com
