Just wanted to post up a short little summary of my build so far:

Started with a stock RB25DET motor a couple of years ago and put it into my 96 240sx:

Had some family issues and didn't spend the time on it that I wish I was able so she sat for months. When I got back to her I found out the motor was blown.

Pulled the motor and rebuilt the internals and put her back in. This time with 740 tomei injectors, Ford Lightening MAF and Jim Wolf ECU and she made 301 whp 276 tq using an Apexi SAFCII and boost at 14psi on the stocker.:

Since the turbo was maxed out I decded it was time to go bigger. So after much research decided I wanted to try Bullseye S362 divided with 6boost divided mani and twin gates:

The work was going smooth. Couldn't wait to finish. I put my car on the lift and was about to tighten some of the lower exhaust manifold bolts that were hard to reach from the top and then:

The damn lift broke with my car on it!! With alittle bit of luck my car didnt topple over and alittle big of ingenuity I was able to get the car down. Crushed one of my $450 side skirts though

Anyway, with that out of the way I was able to finish the work over the weekend. Started her up and everything seems to be running smooth. Stupid clutch fan decided to go on me as well as my P/S pump. But I have extras of both so not a big deal.

Have some tiny things I'm still cleaning up and whatnot, but, in the following few weeks I plan on going for a tune and dyno and we shall see the results!

I am glad you started a build thread. I was digging the teaser pic you have in your sig. You sir have yourself a clean as kouki. how big is the exhaust side of the turbo. Im curious to see how fast it spools. Im doing a rb25 on my new car and i want a turbo that spools quick for street purpose. I waiting to see the outcome of the compound turbo build in another thread before i decide. Anyways back to the topic, keep up the good work. The car is sick.

I too was interested in your sig and u did not disappoint, glad too see an RB going with a Borg Warner, I was always interested in a RB with a BG. I dont mean to thread jack or anything but what kind of manifold is that? its pretty sweet, other than that your car is flawless... keep us updated

and flatrate, the front bumper is the oem jdm bumper for the kouki and the lip is also a jdm lip for the kouki, i forgot the name of the lip but u can find the lip at vexmotorsports.com

Car looks tits! Quick question...where's your power steering reservoir? I see the swirl pot over there on the driver side shock tower but where's the PS reservoir? How's the fitment with the 6boost divided mani and twin gates in relation to the PS pump? Think there's enough room for me to run it if I am also running the A/C compressor?

I should have jumped on that 6boost group buy awhile back...

I moved the P/S reservoir alittle lower next to the radiator. The front wastegate was alittle too close to the PS pump so we shaved about 1/4" off of the manifold and now it fits perfect. luckily the MVS wastegates are V-Band so you can easily move them to perfect fitment.

Now to try and fit that all with A/C....good luck! It can probably be done, but, will be SUPER tight.

i would suppose he lowered the car down, and then the side that was still lopsided, jack up on it then get the arms out of the way and lower it down with the jack.

Great looking build! I love the manifold. As far as A/C goes, I bet it would be tight but as long as you can get the compressor in there, you should be good to go.

actually pretty close. The car was actually higher in the air then it looks. One side of the lift still lifted the car up...but, would not go down at all.

So I had to put a jack ontop of a few tires to reach the yellow arms on the completely broken side and had a friend release some of the hydraulic fluid from the bleeder on the half broken side.

We slowly let out some of the fluid to get both sides even, then from there we both tried to match the same speed on the way down. stopping to remove tires from the side with the jack when it got low enough. PITA.

Darius << thanks again for the valve cover screws!
