Thanks Dante, yeah I plan on fixing the stuff soon, i'll be busy this weekend, but the weekend following I've got nothing, I'm planning on doing the line then, I hope I can do the thing myself and not need anyone to come over and help me. I've done it 2 times now, so third time should just be cake. I need to do the hydro brake soon, I'm gunna schedule that soon as well, I need to mount it one day, and then drop the lines through and get them prepped to go in and have someone help me do bleed the brakes and put the lines in.

So heres a post I've been waiting to make for months, all the wheels are finally on the car, and look good. I sit a tad bit higher, but the ride is soooooo nice, and surprisingly less bumpy and more comfortable. I havent tried any kind of grip ability yet, I'm afraid to rip these bad boys up. Again sizing is, 17x9 +25 up front with 235/40/17 Falken FK452's up front and 18x9.5 +25 with 245/40/18 Falken Ziex 912's in the rear.

Joe- I dont have a lip or an amp LOL. I use some old alpine 6x9's in the rear in place of the stock junk speakers.

For a cheap amp, try searching craigslist, or your local classified ads in your newspaper, they always show up there. You can also go to pep boys and get a small amp, or even check ebay.

Rust repair SHOULD be materials only, guy wont charge me a cent for labor because he loves doing the stuff on the side for people, and if he does charge it wont be much. I'll be getting all the body rust fixed and patched, like the rocker panel. It's gunna be great, still hasnt called me back, I'll call him again on tuesday to see whats up. The sooner it gets in the sooner I can not worry about it for a few weeks.

Well it's been a while, got close to selling the car or parting out, when I got a sudden deal, the car is now inspected til may of next year :) No more issues there, so I got a year to fix my existing problems. I have a few things I've done, not much. I replaced the leaky braided oil feed line with an OEM hardline, and finally nooooo leaks. Took the car out afterwards and hanging with Dante, I was heading to lancaster area, got myself a speeding ticket. Soooo, needless to say cars alot of fun again. About a week ago, I painted the hood Purple. It uhhh doesnt look as good as i was expecting, but i think after wetsanding and laquer or clearcoat, it'll be rad. So here are some updated pics of what the car look like.

Like I said, it needs wetsanded and cleared. I am debating on doing the roof and the hatch purple as well, but for now just the hood.

Sooooooo..... I went to the track, errrr well attempted. Car was running perfectly all the way to lancaster to pick up Tom, and after I picked him up we started heading down a nice back road and there were a few hills, decel sounded great, but heading up a hill going around a bend i heard the car developing a misfire. Tom didnt think it was till i floored it and the subaru STI sound followed suit. So, we drove about 5 miles, hoping the car would fix itself, sometimes my magnum would misfire and fix itself, so i figured maybe its intermitent. Not the case. Pull over, the motor is rocking like crazy, but its running. No loud banging or clanking or knocking. So we diagnosed it as a spark issue. We turned around hit up the advanced auto on rt. 30 and prayed that plugs were the problem. Started the car up and still a horrible misfire. So i ruled out plugs. So i decided to limp it back to harrisburg, 30 miles. At 70 mph in 5th gear, it ran smooth, didnt even sound like it was on 3 cylinders, i made sure i didnt get it into boost.

Got home and diagnosed it as a fuel injector. I waited til the next day, but I pulled each injector plug off and cylinders 1,2 and 4 made it almost stall out, cylinder 3 made no exhaust note change. I pulled the injector and soaked it in seafoam for 2 days. Plugged it back in, and still a misfire. So I checked to make sure it is infact an injector, by swapping cyl 2 and 3's coil packs. Pulled cyl 2 injector plug, motor almost dies. So its in fact cyl. 3 injector. So I have a set of injectors im purchasing friday, and only installing the one.

This is my last update. Car is up for sale and will be sold. I have already started selling parts here and there. I'm not parting out, so dont ask, unless you have a stock replacement. I know I'm taking the quitters way out, but I cannot stand the unreliability and frustration everytime i try to take the car to an event or just drive it. I will post a link to my craigslist ad for the car and the parts later, but I currently have a guy with an offer, so I'm just fixing the issue and then seeing if i can sell it as is.

Buy an E36 3 series sedan. Cheap to obtain, and a great car. Motor is solid.

I'm gunna lay low on cars for a little. I've exhausted my want to mod and go fast, as I've aqcuired more tickets then i ever expected in 3 months. I've also had more close calls and I realized I'm not ready for a fast car. I also dont have the funds or place to continue another project. I love the S chassis, but its not for me. Its simple, but its very unreliable. I know I got a bad car to begin with, but oh well.

I have a few mods planned out for my magnum, but thats about it, just redoing my front fascia up a bit, changing up the look in the rear, putting duals on it and a new rear splitter, and then HID's for the high beams and I'm done for a while.
