It is....I'm moody tonight

Here, best gold find, a local 240 from down my street, must of wrecked into a pole, but i saw the car and knew it right away. I could pulled so much crap, but it was in the motor yard, so we couldnt pull parts off it. So I saw the side skirts laying on the sides, ones beat up a bit, but nothing i cant fix with a little bondo and fiberglass. But heres the pic.

I also found a few small things, Tom banged out 2 studs off a nx2000, hoping it works, it had the sr in it, but it had nothing we could fit to mine. I got a bunch of fusible links, and I got a second fuel sender, this one has all the wires, so im gunna fix swap mine out soon here. I also got a kick panel for my ecu and also a dome light cover.

Throw that dome light cover on, ziptie it to the roof frame and free yourself of the headliner lol. I think it'll look rad.

Hilarious when you go lookin for cheapo skirts you find legit skirts for the same price lol.

BTW if they aren't long enough studs I forgot I have 4 hubs off my old wrecked car sitting around with fine studs. Just say the word yo, u may have a few.

Yeah, so i havent felt like updating, but last tuesday I took the car to work, and i was in boost at 4k rpms, when i felt a sudden jolt, a bog, and then the rpms dipped to about 1500 with pedal fully depressed, and it just died. Turn key, no fuel pump noise. So I had it towed home, and checked my fuel pump fuse, its good. I dont get any noise from the fuel pump, no prime, nothing. And when I turn the car over, it will start, idle roughly at 500rpm for less then a second and die. So its gotta be the fuel pump. I'm in the process of fixing it now, eating food atm, and I'm gunna solder the two wires on my sender i got from the junkyard, throw it in the car and hope she starts. Backing the boost down to 7psi, and im using a CA18 pump, so it will prolly support the needed fuel for boost. I'm gunna be looking into finding another walbro, but until then, this will have to do.

Well its alive again. Changed the pump out, to find that the one butt splice on the walbro had come off. So I dropped in my temporary CA18 pump with new sender, and car runs. I backed the boost down to 7psi just til i get the walbro back in. I'll be changing the pumps on saturday morning. Cake swap, alot easier then I was expecting. I'll wire it up right and make it work. Just hoping i dont run into any snags along the way. Oh and my gas gauge works now. Its great seeing that working for once.

Ok so I took the tires to A&R, and these guys were quick, and straight to the point. 4-5 guys came out the door helped me unload the car, it was like the paramedics off rockos modern life, they shoulda been making the same hup hup hup hup noises they did too. 15 min flat they had me out the door and ready to roll. So i stopped over and looked at Bersh's car too. Here are the pics of the wheels and tires getting balanced, and then one laying up next to the car. May test fit them saturday.

Car is up for sale, seriously, done with this peice of s***, everytime I go to do a simple thing, something else goes horribly f***ing wrong. I'm still pretty pissed about this one. I went to put on the wheels, got 3 out of 4 on. Was rolling pretty smooth. I have some cheap a** lug nuts on this car, they came with it, I planned on getting new ones soon. Well, they are mandatory now. Go to remove the left front wheel, the one with 4 studs, not 5. Well, first two lugnuts come off, no problem. Last 2, just keep spinning...hard to spin, so I'm eagerly waiting for the studs to pop....never happened. So I sprayed pb blaster all over it, give it some time. Go at it again, same result. Tried cranking with some angle to it, hoping the stud would catch on the side of the hub and let me break the stud off. Nothing. So now I'm f***ed. I have 2 good studs basically. Car is drivable, to a shop only. I'm going to source out a new left front 5 lug hub, i dont care what brand, I'll go with Ichiba at this point in time, and ill drill out the studs, through the open ended lugs. I'll hammer them b****es till they snap, pull the wheel, remove calipers and rotors, then remove cotter pin, pull the hub off completely, replace, calipers and rotor back on, put on new wheel, and we have a winnner. Only problem with this plan, I dont have the money to buy a whole new hub setup, So if i can somehow find used ones, I'll go for it. Until then, I'm just gunna install parts I have laying around here. I'm going to also start prepping for inspection which is 3-4 months away. I got a few pics of the wheels on the car, gave me about an inch higher ride height. I'm happy with the fitment for now. But it doesnt do me s*** since I can't drive it. I'm just venting, I'd accept 3.5-3k for the car if someone really wanted it. I'd throw in all my parts I have laying around, all of it. At this moment, I'm shooting for early June to see it back on the road, unless someone does me a huge favor somewhere out there and get me a front left 5 lug hub. I'll be taking the Big Blue bus to sonic, no way I'm missing that meet. And I guess this puts me out of drift school, Doug take my place if you want. Anyways, heres the few pics I took.

Sigh, welcome to my world of bad luck.
