With the size of injectors that your using you must be going to make some serious power--I would also recommend some ARP Main studs and get everything balanced. With the cometic Head gasket get the block decked flat and the head cut flat as well or you with have problems sealing--metal head gaskets NEED really flat surfaces to seal well (also you will have to take the appropriate amount of material off of the timing chain covers as well. good luck!

I am only shooting for about 400whp, and some really good KA-T guys I know said my main studs should be fine. As far at the cometic HG goes, I am having a shop who specializes in KA work fit the head with the gasket, and the boring work for me. I am paying a pretty penny to have all this stuff done correctly.

Doesn't hurt for a follow up with the shop that is building the motor. 850cc is a bit more injector than you need for 400. Are you tuning the motor or a shop? KA-t's are the way to go--they get ignored but I think they a great motor I would build another!!

The shop is doing the all the motor work, but I am having the best local 240 tuner do the tuning for me.. the tuner knows what work is going into it so he knows what I am looking for and the way to tune it.. as far as the 850cc injectors, i figure its better to have them already in case i want to 'upgrade' again in the future
