So far I'm happy with the results. I set myself a 'soft' budget of $2000 in add-ons and am just under 1700 right now. It's easy to spend 2 gs on a set of wheels so sticking in a budget like this is tight. By this summer I'll probabaly double up that budget, but I like to keep money conscious.

Eibach pro-kit
K&N air filter
Mustache overlays
Tenzo Tenspec V1's 19"
Cooper Zeon 2xs 245/35-19
oh! and lots of touch-up paint

A few quick thoughts:
1. If the pro-kit took the front down one more inch it would be perfect.
2. The air filter is probably my best bang for the buck yet.
3. My friend who does signs and tinting said of the overlays: "I've put higher quality vinyl on yard sale signs"-ouch
4. 19" Tenspecs are heavy. The stock wheels and tires=35 lbs, Tenzos=50!
5. The cooper tires are quiet at high speeds but make a hum around 25-35 mph.
6. If there isn't a recall on sucky paint for the code red, let me cast my vote now.

Let me apologize here if the picture quality is poor- I don't know why. When I preview the posting, the pics that come up are poor quality. That may be corrected on the actual posting.

Yes. I should have already done it. Actually, this week I'll be doing fogs and replacing those hideous stock tips. So this weekend would be a good time to do to a debadge. Is the goo-gone/dental floss method safe? Do you suggest something else?

Got the same rims a few weeks ago just waiting to put them on when it gets a little nicer out. Do you have spacers on?

No. Despite the +45 offset these wheels look good because of the contour. I wouldn't put anything more than a 10mm if I do. I got these when Element had a sale but the machined version was sold out. Now that I've got these on I'm glad, I'm diggin the black and red. They will look killer on a white AC.

I lived upstate ny for a while so I know all about terrible weather. It's been 70 and sunny for over a week now in the south.

Sorry for the late reply. I did the floss and goo gone on my brand new black coupe and had no issues. Some people say the goo gone messes up your paint or eats through out. People also recommend debadging in warmer weather or using a hair dryer so the adhesive comes off easily. I did mine at the end of summer so I didn't use a blow dryer.

How'd it go?

I second the sentiments about tons of paint chips on my code red. How well do the mustache overlays match in color and where did you get them from?

Got them from bluebatmobile. The color looks great in the sun but for some reason in synthetic light they look pinkish. Any graphics/sign shop should be able to cut out some red 3M vinyl that would match just as well(or better). I also have a set of taillight overlays from LBC but my left taillight got a huge chip in it so I'm likely to order a set of ebay tails and sell my overlays.

Yes. Remember thats wheels and tires, I didn't weigh the rims alone. I expected a little bit heavier but I was shocked at the weight. I'm keeping a close eye on my m'spg.

Will do.
I've been so busy this week. I can tell you that 10mm spacers would look much better. 15 would probabaly work as well but may be a bit much for rock throwing.

Got my tips and took off the 'altima' badge.
They are 4" maganflow- strictly cosmetic, but was necessary.
My first debadging went well. Will do the '2.5s' maybe this weekend.

Make sure you don't need hubcentric rings for those wheels - that humming at 25-35mph might be symptomatic of that. Odd that the tire would make a noise at a lower speed and quiet down at faster speeds. Just wanted to throw that out there. I could be wrong, but I would make sure.

Also - make sure you've done an alignment after doing the springs. You could shred up those pretty new tires pretty quickly.

Nice looking ride though! Red lip on the black wheels look good against the red. My next recommendation is black housings for the headlights!

the stock wheels and tires weigh 35lbs? i have to see for myself, stock wheels weigh something like 24-25lbs I've heard, tires about 20lbs for the 16" so i would've thought 45lbs stock 16" setup.

35 on the ole dial scale. I'm sure with 38,000 miles on those tires that a few pounds could have been wore off, but I was shocked at the overall difference. I did expect the tenzos to be a little heavy though - my first tank of gas netted no change in m/p/g so I happy.

I've considered!

Alignment done and I'm running hubcentric rings. I am actually very happy with these tires and was probabaly being over-critical because they were new. These tires are quiet and comfy considering the profile. This week we had some downpour and they did good in rain. I give them 7.5/10. Great for such a budget tire.

As far as the headlights- I'm iffy to do a bake. Still sittin in those fogs also because I may do hids while I've got the thing pulled apart.
