it should always squirt if you're doin it right. Either you got a leak somewhere or you're bleeding it wrong.

I have the same problem except my problem is with the rear brakes - they just drip no matter how hard you push on the brakes.

No ideas yet. Just going to follow the brake lines and see what I find.

The 240SX FSM outlines these bleeding steps: 1 - Fully depress the brake pedal several times.2 - With brake pedal depressed, open the bleeder valve to let out air.3 - Close bleeder valve.4 - Release brake pedal.5 - Repeat steps 1 thru 4 until clear fluid comes out. Without Anti-lock:Left rear caliper -> Right rear caliper -> Left front caliper -> Right front caliper With Anti-lock:Left rear caliper -> Right rear caliper -> Left front caliper -> Right front caliper -> Front side air bleeder on A.B.S. actuator -> Rear side air bleeder on A.B.S. actuator

after u follow those procedures, then start guessing on frozen caliper pistons or collapsed/clogged rubber brake lines...

I think the best option so far as been just getting new calipers for all 4. I managed to snag all four for $278CAD. I was surprised though when installing the front right caliper and bleeding the system that the boot on the new one jumped off the piston. 75% isn't bad though.

***Word of advice ***Don't back down a 40ft snow covered icy drive way with almost bald front tires, weak rusted front brakes, unchecked and completely siezed rear brakes. I would compare this to a really heavy toboggan. Fortunately if you turn the car side ways half way down the driveway you stop sliding and you don't have to use oncoming traffic to stop your skid.

If anyone else gets this same problem where it just barely drips out, I had the same problem with my rear brakes, and it was the Master Cylinder. They are cheap and easy to replace.

After bleeding the rear brakes remember to hold the brakes and pump your e-brake a bit.
