Alright guys, so my brakes recently got super low and really soft. It kind of feels like the same problem i had when my masterbrake cylinder went bad 3 months ago, but the master brake cylinder is only 3 months old (was rebuilt, not new), so im kind of hoping its not the problem? But i have a good feeling it is. (Its not leaking or anything)

So any other ideas? I just bled all the brakes and everything to, even put new pads on the front and its still low. The brakes are hard when the cars not started, but as soon as i start it they get soft.

Also, is the 300zx brake master cylinder basically a bolt up? Or am i going to need alot of work? Im looking to do the 300zx swap soon enough.

Thanks, Tony

The 300zx bolts up just fine but you will need to bend some of the lines a tiny bit in order to get them to line up

Do i need a new sensor for it? (The plug that goes in) or are they the same?

you will need the 300zx connector and splice it on to the existing wiring. here is a link with all you need. http://www.importnut.net/300zxbrakeswap.htm#MC

If he's got an s13 like the sig suggests hes not going to have to bend anything. All he has to do is get a flair kit or drill the fitting out of the s13 mc. S14 requires the lines to be rebent to fit the holes on the z32 MC.

Before upgrading anything, check the slave cylinder.

EDIT*: Durrrrr, I was thinking about the clutch.

I know this thread is pretty old, but I am having the same issue you had with your brakes. I have replaced the brake booster and bled the brakes until I'm blue in the face.

What was the solution that fixed your issue?
