Nothing too fancy just tried keeping it simple. I'm happy with how it turned out. Sounds good too.Anyone else have any feel free to post. Any constructive criticism is appreciated.

Personally, I'd cover the center section in vinyl to match the trunk (or red for contrast like the paint). Would look better, IMO.

Otherwise, good deal

I agree either work the rest of the interiors color scheme (cloth seat color) into the box or leave it red to match the exterior, but use some vinyl.

How do you have the 6x9's wired?

Personally, I'm not a fan of anything above a mid from behind the listener, but to each his own, I'm just curious.

I have the 6x9's wired straight from the head unit back. and the reason i used 6x9's there is simply because i had them sitting around being unused.

ehh maybe but it'd be one tight fit and probably wouldn't sound too good.... that's why i went with a single 12". Are you planning on trying to make something for your car?

Good setup, suggestions: change center stripe to black vinyl or velour...use two 10's instead of a single 12', it will give you a sharper bass...

The setup is functional and you still have some of your trunk space available....

Pretty nice. Looks like a clean install. I was trying to figure out a way to point my subs back too. Ended up just saying screw it. It's really not a big enough area to worry about it.

Is the amp just for the sub? Or are you driving the 4x6"s with one too? Did you just toss the spare tire or can you still get to it somehow?

And just so I can maybe catch something before my system is up, did you find any problem rattles that you had to dampen?

You gave me some ideas with how to handle the bare metal along the sides in the trunk area. I think custom fiberglass would probably be my route on the back though... maybe make a little housing for a battery relocation.

Great job!

The amp is only pushing the sub. I'm working on getting an amp for my highs. And i made it so that i can still get to the spare tire. The only rattles were the plastic right above the seatbelt pulley. Also the lights right above the license plate fell but that's mainly because of rust it was only a matter of time before they gave. thanks for the comments.

False information alert!!!

Two 10s will not automatically give you "sharper" bass. It all depends on what driver you're using, and in what enclosure with what tuning frequency.

Very impressive! S14's will never be able to have something like this. Our trunk space is just about the size of what you have left after the installation of the box (exaggerating just a bit)

i dunno...lame joke. anyway, i have a coupe so i can fit like 1 ten in there without sacrificing the usability of my trunk. so i went with an alpine type-r, "custom" built box by me (looks bad, but works), and a sony xplod 1200 watt amp. i also gots 3 way 4x6 pioneers in the front and 3 way 6.5 ecplises in the back. yuumers.
