Ok, I'll get some pics to post. ;)

But first recognize I just bought this beast about 3 weeks ago. She IS not in prime shape... yet!

I bought her knowing she had a few cosmetic things I needed to take care of, but have quickly found lots of real issues to deal with.

So think of these (soon to be posted) pics as "before" pics. :yesnod

Agreed, do your own intro thread with pics and any issues and we can enjoy your car and also advise you about fixing her!

I know this is an old thread and sorry for reviving it, I have a 1990 z 2 seaters with only 24k miles on it garage kept all its life and I don't really like the blue interior, basically it looks like it came out or the factory. Wish I could find someone with a really low millage z garage kept with black interiors looking for a swap.
Wish I could afford buying all new interior but that will cost a fortune, dash alone is $1200, door panels $750 plus everything else. Would be great to sell everything for a good price to cover most of the expense then buy everything I need. Always been wanting black interiors with red stitching, my favorite.
Wondering how would it look my blue interior with black leathers?

the thread that would not die...lol.

But to answer your question, I have replaced the blue cloth seats in my Z with black leather. I think it looks real good. Lots of black already in the interior (trim and what not).

At some point I plan to take the cloth covered interior parts out, strip off the cloth, and put on black leather. Over all I'm going with a black and blue look on the car, so I think it should work out ok.

Could you please post pics, would like to see what u have right now. I was planning on buying a professional automotive interior paint to paint everything black but I know I wouldn't be able tondo that to an almost new car. Bascally everything on my car is blue.
Would be nice to see something like mine with all the cloth pieces replaced by black leather, or leather seats have the z logo in blue?
I wanted to paint this car red but because the interior is blue I cant unless I paint the interior black including dash. I'm starting to consider a different blue for this z, not a huge fan of blue cars but I want to keep this car because of the brand new conditions.
Was thinking like an exotic blue, I like the new BMW m5 blue, that color is nice, mine is the midnight blue perl, it looks a bit purple to me.

Wow, a factory fresh blue interior?
PLEASE post pics!
You may want to consider that the blue interior is the least-produced interior color, and that surely there are few in the condition you suggest left in existence. If you read the thread, we discuss the blue color and difficulties even finding a good red interior.
With the extremely low miles and condition of your car, you may want to see if you can sell it or trade it for a color combination more to your liking, and possibly really make someone's day finding a pristine blue Z32 complete with a BLUE interior...wow.
Just a thought!

I thought about it, but I was looking for a car with low miles and in pristine conditions and the only way I could sell this one would be if I find a red or black z with as low miles as this one and garage kept. The blue interior is starting to grow in me a little, I know it will take sometime but I rather have black inetriors since is my favorite color and its easier to match with other colors when I decide to pain the exerior. My exterior is the midnight blue perl (th1 color code) which I dont really like, it looks like it has a bit of purple. My plan is to paint I another blue so it match the inetriors. The new bmw m5 comes in a blue I really like. I like white z's but not for me, which is another color that matches the blue interior. My father suggested black exterior but I'm not sure how would that combo looks.
My palns with the car and im about to place the whole order with z1 in the next week is to replace the front fascia with the jdm, twinz trunk spoiler, twinz rear bumper type 2, twinz front lip, twinz side lips with the kaminari side skirts which I bought them used yesterday, twinz nose panel type 1, twinz air ducts and possibly the twinz roof spoiler (not sure about this one yet) and the jdm taillights.
Will be keeping all the original parts just in case I want to put everything back to stock.
I bought this car to use it but now I dont even want to do that, might use it a bit a build it for shows and keep my other z to put some miles, but I still have to convince the wife as she doesn know my intention yet.
If I can see a z with blue interios and leather seats with other black trim pieces I might to it that way, my seats are cloth and would like to upgrade to leather. Always wanted black inetrior with red stitches.
Sometime I think if I should leave this car stock but ive always wanted a car with full body kit, and the z for my is the one.
Will try ro post pics here tomorrow as I need to take a few and need to learn how to post pics in here.

Anyone has pics of a z with blue interior and black accents?

GL with your plans, I am envious of your available Z-fundage based upon the Z1 order you mentioned.
I'd still love to see a pre-work/current shot of your interior, and the whole car actually- post up a thread of your car! :dblthumb:

They already have the list, but I haven't pay yet as I want to make sure I don't change my mind on something, they have a pre order with some discounts on the twinz parts, is not much but it helps a little. I have until January 6 to pay everything.
Will be posting pics of the car by tomorrow, I hope.
Haven't done anything to the car, just bought it a week ago, plans is to give it a detail during the week and install the wheel sI have on my other z, they are OZ racing mito's, just refurbished then and they are getting new tires on Monday, painted the center wheels graphite and they looks awesome.

NO WAY!! you have a mint blue interior! Trust me..don't get rid of it. My first 2 thoughts when I first saw the ad online for my car were:
1. its a girly blue
2. Blue interior has to go
after being in the Z game for a couple years I realized how unique the blue color combo was. Now, I won't change a thing in the interior to keep looking fresh blue!

finding a 12,000mi Z is rare.. finding a 12k mi Z with a mint blue interior is nothing short of amazing.
