Did it come with everything you need for the swap? What was missing (if anything) or broken? Good to hear from a satisfied customer, everyone on the Freshalloy forum has nothing but negative comments for Osaka, I guess that's about to change.

I have ordered my S14 SR20DET from them and the only thing that was damaged was the oil pan (expected). So I upgraded to the Greddy one, and guess what they Greddy sent it to me with the wrong plug size, whatever I'll just use 2 drain plugs for it or install a Greddy oil temp gauge.

Oh here's a pic of my engine from Osaka

I will give you $130USD plus shipping cost. I would rather do this on PM but mine does not seem to work for some reason. You can email me at [email protected] if you would rather deal in private. Or continue on this thread.

Thanks Alex.

S13 RedTop ECU goes for 250 from heavythrottle. S14 for 350. 200 is a very good deal for a blacktop ecu. any know what the year is that coresponds to 61?

900 is a sweet price, no coil packs, cut harness, no sure about the air flow sensor, thats prety much it, all the sensors are there as well, which I also do not need, anyone need anything?

You guys will soon see a 13 sec SR on 10 PSI. All the money you save from osaka you can afford stand alone. ECU, harness, sensors, you dont need all that crap if you go stand alone and you will enjoy the bennefits later when you add upgrades.

My car has brand new paint, yellow with orange pearl, yea yea rice rice blah blah, It looks sweet and this engine is gona finish it off.

Your right, they do go for $250 on heavythrottle, but that is for an ECU with no dents that corresponds to the proper motor. Osaka sent you a number 61 which is a automatic redtop ECU (91-94). Let me know if your still interested.

Hey 240Kuminachu-Where are you in North Idaho? I would like to see your car when you get it all finished. Also, the transmission in my 90 is going out so if you have a five-speed left over after the swap I might be interested in buying it off you.

Yeah, 61 is for a 91-94(?) Auto, supposed to work with maunal, but not sure. Probably not worth near as much as the proper one, #62.

I might be interested in your cut harness if it's cheap. Maybe more stuff if you post a list.

Matt, I was just in MOSCOW on sunday!! My bro goes to uofi and Im thinking so do you? Deffinately, we will have to meet up. There is a 240 in moscow all fixed up, is it yours? Im in CDA, last name COTE, sound fimiliar? No my transmission is also shot sorry, a main reason to do the swap. bearings are out, still works, makes nasty whinning sounds.

The ecu will work with a 5sp, as far as I know, Im probably wrong on that though/

All of the wires that go to the sensors, injectors, ect are there, I guess you could call it a complete cut harnes,, ha and yes I will have all of the sensors left over, its gona take another week and a half tho so you will have to keep in touch if you need anything. I also have tons more pics, maybee you can find something you need.

240Kuminachu - Did your motor come with the igniter chip? That's really the piece i'm concerned about since those little things go for ~$300 from the dealer.

Anyone know what's going with Osaka's site?

The site wont work for me either. Im not sure, here are some phone numbers if you want to try, they might be old.

1-514-382-43331-514-262-54211-819-569-0989 should be the main number

No ignitor chip, this is the perfect setup for stand alone, im tellin you, I would not buy from osaka otherwise, your gona have a ***** of a time getting everything together otherwise. I strongely recomend not buying from them unless you go standalone just for the sake of tracking down parts..

Ebay had a chip a while back, went for 1500 of so, not bad. Also doesnt the Q45 ignitor chip work? I know one of em does, Im prety sure.

Yea, the Q45 chip would work, but you still need the ignitor chip if you go stand alone. I'm currently helping a friend with his SR and he's using a Power FC D-Jetro model. The D-Jetro model is a japan only version that eliminates the MAF and replaces it with a MAP sensor. The Power FC is a stand alone unit and that is what I plan on using as well, for that unit at least, the ignitor chip is required.

Hey 240-

I am going to school at UofI. The red 240 that's all fixed up isn't mine but the guy is a friend of mine. Anyway, next time i'm up in C'dA i'll have to look you up. Oh yeah, sounds like your transmission has the same problem as mine.

Later,Matt
