looks sick bro, I would love to get mine done but I'm too worried I wouldn't be able to seal it enough to avoid condensation

Thanks everyone for the compliments and kind words, everything came out better than I expected but the seal definetly isn't pretty but It does the job and the messy parts aren't exposed, if I had to give anyone advice to bake their lights I would say to definetly be very patient and take your time to do it right the first time and definetly use a lot of silicon when sealing it up. It would be a lot easier If you have a second person helping out when you seal it back up because you want it to be tight like it originally was to minimize a potential gap between the fenders or the hood. We will be getting storm warnings tomorow up here in NY so I'll keep you guys posted on how the seals are holding up.

looks awesome man. nicely done. hope it holds up during the storm man, if not try the 3M calk, that darrayl had recommended for me when i did my lights. Stuff a little sticky but best part is i can open it up anytime without ever having to reheat them and that alone saves me alot of time whenever i want to fix or add something else in.

seals great and i used alot of clamps to keep the seal tight and to have the gap minimize and i went a lito ghetto when i used some electrical tape to go around the seam haha, but hey, it works and hasnt fogged up once. here's a picture of my lights and the seam somewhat.

The ghetto electrical tape over the 3M calk only because the stuff is sticky still, so this helps to smooth it out.

Black out but kept the amber, i kind of dig it, but that might change dont know when haha

Audi style with a twist, got this idea from another member but its a strip of leds instead of individual ones. But also i add in some projectors and halos haha.

yea the leds are inside the headlight housing and arent exposed outside, and my rims are not photoshopped lol all four have the pinstripe i guess you cant see the back wheel cuz of the lighting, and the pinstripe is vinyl, it was an experiment to see if i wanted to get them painted on and now i definetly will for the summer

I don't like it. It looks like an LED strip. Which it is.

Christmas tree-ish.

B88dragon's has more an Audi look to it.

B88dragon's how did you get the aim correct for the projector?

Also what projectors did you get with what shroud? Do you have pictures while you were working on them?

The way i aim the projector was different from what darrayl told me. I just lined up my projectors with the lil sqaure thingy in the back of the reflector bowl and just eyeballed it lol. I just got out lucky that it was aimed correctly hahah.

I say follow darrayl's advice. U set up a table and have the headlight balanced then turn on the lights and mark off with some tape where the headlights were and where on the wall.

I used a pair of tsx projectors, was hoping to find a pair of s2k, but those things are near to impossible to find.

I wrote a HUGE A$$ thread and a complete write-up on how to do your own retrofit. here's a link to it. warning the thread is super long. but has plenty of pictures.
