Hey All,

Here is my '08 Coupe that I bought in August.

I recently installed some 19" Lorenzo WL027's on 225/40/19 Continentals. Dropped with BC Coilovers, Racingline swaybar and links (thanks Ricko), Borla axle-back exhaust, and eBay tail-lights.

I'm thinking about an intake, but unfortunately the K&N Typhoon isn't CARB legal. I was considering the AEM "CAI" but I haven't made up my mind. I'm also considering tinting the windows but the tinting laws here are harsh, and I don't want a s*** job. Any suggestions?

The Injen SRI is CARB-Legal, you just need to email them with a pic of your intake installed and a pic of your VIN sticker in order to get your CARB sticker for your intake.
As for tint, I did 35% in the back and 50% up front. The contrast is enough so that I don't get bothered by the cops, and even when they pull me over I just roll down my windows anyways.

Not a fan of the taillights, other than that car looks good.

Looks pretty clean. Only comment is that I'd black out the chrome mustache. Oh and those tails look a lot better in person to those who think they're crap.

Hey bro I like what you did with your headlights, I've been wanting to do the same for a while. About how much did it run you, if you don't mind me asking?

For the OP. I like your coupe very much, have you considered adding eyelids on the headlights?

Thanks man. I've thought about the eyelids, for sure. I really like the look of iceman's headlights. I've considered full swap, but they're certainly a lot more expensive than tail lights. I also heard of some folks having issues with the halo style ebay lights.

I've dropped about $3,800 so far into this car with the mods (including the install) and I'm terrified about putting even more into it.

As soon as I save up some more dough, I would like to get some eyelids, a fascia and/or grille, grounding kit and possibly an intake.

What might not be evident in the photos are all the chips on the front bumper from daily driving, and a number of hairline scratches across the body. I've tried the turtle wax scratch and swirl remover, but it didn't do diddly. Some of the scratches aren't very deep. Some chips just go through the clear coat, others penetrate through the paint. I've tried doing some wet sanding with some 2500 grit on a bit curb rash I have, and it did not turn out well. I really want to avoid repainting the car. Are there products any products you guys would recommend for both the chips, scratches and the curb rash? Or should I shop around for a detailer?

Thanks!

Can I just pop-off those chrome covers? I'd assume it's the same color beneath it as the honey-comb grille, but I haven't actually tried it.

Bro I think with eyelids and a front lip your ride is set. Also, you could paint the chrome accents on the grill black. No need to get the fascia. Mods do get expensive, but put it this way you already started with the best One. The 3.5 model. So the power is there.
I wish I'd started that way, but hey, it is what it is.

Just roll your fenders and you're good to go. Mine are rolled.
