Forgot to mention I'm seeing 5psi at the intake mani currently with just the 7psi spring in the WG. Have to get an alignment and then trim the bumper and put it back on. Also install the EBC and head to dyno. Probably will set boost around 9psi at mani with EBC.

Looks like an awesome setup! You might max out your injectors if you go any higher than 9 psi though.

Hopefully the 480s get me a little cushion. but probably won't go higher than 9psi before building my extra engine, then I'll want/need stand alone and bigger injectors.

EDIT: Just realized I had typed 440s instead of 480cc. Though when flowed by JWT they were around 468cc.

At the top you'll notice I've owned S13s for 14+ years and this is the first one that is boosted, it has taken me forever. 6+ years of collecting turbo parts.

To be precise, its just 'silvia' front. 'sil80' refers to a hatchback with silvia front.

Thanks though.

I've been thinking of adding up all the costs, but I think I would cry too much to write it down.

Only driven it twice so far and haven't been too hard on it (brand new clutch), but seems to start building a little under 3k and near full at 3,700 or so. Haven't really looked that closely yet. This turbo is really best at 12+ psi, just got it so I wouldn't have to get another after the engine build. But it still spools pretty quickly.

After the alignment I need to find a friend with a decent video camera for videos.

Yeah, a lot to get done. The alignment is off because of all the changes recently done.

Looks like a dependable setup for sure man. I think those 480's will be fine for 12 psi. I ran 14psi on 42lb injectors at 40ish static fuel pressure with no problems, never ran leaner then 12.7. JWT retards plenty of timing for a safety buffer as well. Should be a decent daily man Is it a daily or?

Not a daily, my G35 is the daily. This will have a built engine eventually, just the matter of money. Would eventually like to road race occasionally and throw in a drift once in a while.

I looked at G35 sedans and probably would have went with an X if I went that way. But none of the sedans allow the back seat to fold down, the coupe does. I need it to carry things that were longer.

The back seat/trunk was the reason I chose the G over a Z as well.

Huh, I wonder if Infiniti knows hiow many people want a drop down rear seat. Hell even the 240 does that...gay. I agree though, sometimes you just need room for longer item. Ski's, hockey sticks etc...

I like the X because it would be great for where I want to retire...anywhere in the north east

Bumping this for a little work.

Friend and I tried to figure out why the EGT gauge doesn't work properly. No luck. Called Auto Meter, guy says that the EGT gauge is really sensitive to the constant ground and probably needs to be grounded to the engine. That's a new one to me. So will try that.

Have the radio/din/gauges sitting out, so now to attempt to hook up the Greddy EBC as well soon, we'll see how that goes.

And once the Vert is out of the way will install the 1-piece alum DS.

Hope to finish all of this before a camping weekend at VIR 23-25th (I really doubt it with my luck lately).

If I get anything done this coming weekend I'll take some pics.

Looking good! Very complete S13 build!

What kinda of outlet is on the GT32? I thought they used that weird 6 bolt but yours looks different.

Started installing the Greddy Profec Type S yesterday. Just have to drill the firewall for harness, mount it, and set the low/high boost.

QUESTION: Have always heard the bottom port on wastegate needs to be capped, that correct? Hope so as that's what I've done currently.

I know, had no time for pics yesterday. Will get some this evening.

Also just read on the ORG, that the bottom port on WG needs to be to a boost source, so believe I'll Tee it from the other line (Seleniod to Turbo housing).

I'll also be putting the car back on jackstands this evening, just to get to the firewall to drill and to install the 1-piece Alum DS.
