So today started out wonderful.Mother's day, my birthday, and my brother's birthday (not twins).

Hung out with my mom for a bit, munched on some vegan cupcakes she made me and then headed to the bowling alley (I bowl in a league on Sundays). and this is where the day starts going bad.

2:30 Bowling starts and out of 3 games and totals (4 scores total) I did absolutely horrible. I think I bowled a 85 a 101 and a 127. My average is a 134 and I usually have one game in the 110s or 20s and 2 games in the 140s or high 30s. So I lost a few bucks from that (multiple bets with family.

Then out of nowhere I am told that we are having a bday party at my grandmas house for me. I was happy but had already made plans to go hang out with my friends and go cruise PCH afterwards. So I kicked back at my grandmas house for like 2hrs waiting for family to show up and then we started the shindig. We had a blast and I got to catch up with my family which was nice.

I grabbed most of the leftovers and took them to my house so my dad didn't have to and then was going to go visit my old friend (her birthday too). Now the story gets bad...

I was leaving my apartments and my gas light came on, so I was planning on getting gas at the Chevron right by my place since it's pretty cheap there, but I was headed the wrong way. I was on a 2 lane street so I pulled into a parking lot to turn around instead of flippin a U in the street. I turn a bit right so I have room to turn instead of making a 3 point turn and wham ! ! ! My tire hits the curb. I thought the curb ended which is why I went a little right. Most of the curb was red but the end of it was white. So I turn around and am super nervous that my tire blew. (This has happened once before and my car drove funny right after) My car drove fine so I proceeded down the street and pulled over asap to check it out. My tire monitor light came on and so I got nervous. I get out and look and my tire is leaking. I drove back home before my tire went completely flat. I get home and check my tire again... My sidewall blew out (maybe a 1" puncture)

I called my brother and asked if he could bring my spare (took it out for trunk space and it was at my moms place about 6miles down the road. We switch the tire and by now it's too late to visit my friend or go to PCH (friends have school tomorrow). Not that I would want to drive that far on a donut anyway.

I go to Fullerton and met up with an old friend at a gas station. He invited me over to where him and a few others were hanging out. I give them a ride back to the spot and I guess a few friends got in a fight while they were out getting more drinks. People get riled up and they were arguing for about 3hours Now I guess one of the kids that fought went home and told his mom and sister (kid was 17) his mom flips out and a whole other argument starts. A sheriff winds up calling one of my buddies and asked what happened, he proceeds to tell him (bad bad bad idea considering there are 4 wasted guys, 2 who have been in jail a few times and both under drinking age, one who is still a minor, and then the 21+ year old who is talking to this "sheriff".

Me not wanting to get busted for this underage drinking thing (I was not drinking) or get a ticket for trespassing (park was closed) or get in any trouble for contributing to a minor decide to book it back to my car.

All in all, the money I got for my bday could have gotten me my eibachs, or an intake, or have helped a lot with me getting the camera I want. But I will be in the same position I was in 2 days ago which is a lot better than being worse off than I was 2 days ago.

Sorry for the long post but just felt like venting about what my night consisted of Have a good night all

That stinks about your tire. At least you knew it was going to blow on you, and you didnt fly around.

Umm how often do you bowl??? Maybe if you ate some eggs and beef you would bowl better. I bowl once every 6 months and can throw a 120. Also underage drinking rocks.

Wooooah. Happy belated birthday Rob. Sorry about your rims man. I got mine just sitting in the garage in case you want to take them off my hands.

And I'm always down to cruise Turnbull when you are. Let me know.

Happy Birthday!

Heres a bad story to make you feel better.

Thursday I was at Surmans house, we cant find out why my OEM foglights (with HIDs) arent firing up, and we notice that I have a nail in my front passenger tire (the day before I was supposed to leave for carlisle)..

Friday I wakeup at 8 and head over to a local tire shop, they patch the tire... while they are doing this, we notice theres a screw in the passenger rear tire, and the tire has 8 large EGGS on the inside of the wheel (thats not safe to drive on, let alone autocross)..

It takes 2hrs for them to get a 20x8.5 tire there, they mount it, and it turns out the wheel is bent as well, and I had to drive on the donut to a rim shop to get it torched and bent back to true...

$350 bucks spent...

Then on the way to carlisle, I saw something fly off a car infront of me but couldnt get out of the way, it was tiny but I heard it hit my car, and it scraped the front bumper on the drivers side pretty bad, took the paint right off and scratched the bumper as well...

Then at carlisle I was being the nice guy because I dont drink, and drove 2 of the other staffers back to their hotel 8 miles down the block, and I got pulled over on the way back, 55 in a 35 (i didnt see it posted) they brought dogs, breathalyzer and 3 cars... Wound up getting a $110 ticket...

$460 bucks I wasnt planning on spending...

dam LBC, I feel ya on the DD, I'm always nervous and afraid i'll get pulled over. lol

I have a similar story while everyone is talking about their trials and tribulations lol,

One day about 4 weeks ago my friend and I were going to the nearest Honda dealer to look at bikes and the dealer was about an hour and a half from my house. So, on the way we drove through a town that my friend said he has never seen a cop there before (remember that part)

So now we are coming up on the exit where the dealer is, and we try to pass someone cuz they wont let us over. We were doing about 80mph in my friends 97 Z-71 and the front left tire blows, we swerve but manage to stay in control until we can pull over on the exit ramp. Luckily he has a spare so we change the tire, turns out that it was flat too, which pisses off my friend even more and ontop of everything its 34 degrees outside with 30mph winds. After we drive 10mph to the nearest loves they charge us $1.50 to use the air.

Finally back on the road we finish going to the dealer and eating and are about to head home , but we end up getting lost for about 40 min. so this just adds to my friends frustration (im laughing a lot ) anyway we get back on track and are heading through the town we passed at the begining of the story, he was already speeding because it's now about midnight and we are ready to get home, we come up on the stop sign and he of course rolls it and continues speeding, then blue and red flashing lights and he just goes "fuk my life" and I start he didn't have his proof of insurance cuz he just bought the truck.

The cop gives him a ticket for going 65 in a 45 and running a stop sign, $390! I felt bad for him but the funniest thing happend when he called his mom to tell her, he was like mom I got almost $400 in ticket and his mom goes...."Cole, have you been tithing to the church"? He said no and I lost it. I could not stop laughing, anyway moral of the story is, pay your tithes and life will be perfect lmao

Wow guys...tough luck!

One pointer for the future...someone might know better but I have heard before that if a Cop pulls you over and asks for a breath test, you have the right to ask for 15 mins because you were at the bar and just finished your last drink. (Like everyone was getting ready to go and you slammed the last half of your drink). Because the beer will be more on your breath then in your system you can ask for the time. Who knows what they will do in the 15 mins you are waiting though...

What are EGGS in a tire? Do I need to get my google on?

Theres a picture of them... looks like eggs are coming out of the sidewall.. this happens when the fabric inside the rubber of the wheel is worn away, and the air pressure is strong enough to disfigure the sidewall of the tire because the fabric isnt there to hold it together... like a weak spot in a balloon.

After the tire was off the wheel this is what the sidewall looked like on the inside... its a miracle It didnt blow up on me.

I have ? for LBC. How many miles did you have on those low-pros? I'm about to upgrade to 18s or 19s. I'm remembering that the 18s I had on my 91 535i only lasted about 12k-14k miles. Is that normal?

Wow sorry about your tires LBC, I'm glad you noticed that nail before Carlisle though, that would have been disastrous if you had 2 tires blow out on you out there.

Did you get your fogs firing up properly ???
rcboy514 wrote:moral of the story is, pay your tithes and life will be perfect lmao
What's tithes ??? (sorry not a church guy)

dldjros: I think what they meant by DD is Designated Driver, and the cops that pulled him over. But that's still a bit intense having 3 cop cars including dogs for a speeding violation. Are you going to have court down there ???

It is the donation ammount that you are supose to give each week. Dating way back to Jesus time, the church would always request that you give 10% of your pre-tax earnings but a tithe isn't 10%, it is what you plan/are expected to give and what you actually give is your Offering/Sacrifice.

Rosario, you didnt hear this story because I came home and held in my anger while trying to get you and andy to stop arguing... I am a moderator in real life too lol..

I had Torry(ezcheeze) and James (papasmurf) in the car, but I got pulled over on the way back, alone.

RCboy, tire size has nothing to do with the length they will last... each tire is different.I put these Nitto Extreme 555's on my car when it had 500 miles, drove em thru 2 winters, and 2 track days... and they have 30,000 miles on em now, still plenty of meat on em! They failed because of the punctures, not because of the wear... I am a big fan of those tires but they are a summer tire.

I think i was talking about his dd rims. 20 inch drug dealer rims.

So Lbc, you were alone and they brought 3 cops and a dog for you. that is a waste of tax payers money. unless you got cocky with them, which i doubt. That is ridiculous.

In the future let me know if the points transfer to your Ny/Nj license. Im under the impression they wont.

That is what i was thinking about the points. My best friend lives with his aunt in Nj and she is a district magistrate. I asked her if i got a speeding ticket in NJ would the points transfer to pa. She said yes due to reciprocity. But im not sure about her answer, i think she just didnt want me speeding. i got a dui in nj and didnt loose my license in pa. And pa never found out about it. So i dont know what to think.

LBC what are you talking about bad day. I had a great time at carlisle. The drive there was with out issues and the same for the drive home. I had a blast at tgif besides that **** putting pepper on me. Then the hardware bar was amazing, and then back to the telly for sum late night drinking. I got to meet majority of the people, so i didnt really miss out on anything.

Carlisle was the first time i had not used my crutches at all. i left them at home. That was the first time i drunk walked on the ankle. so it was quite swollen. Yesterday was my first day back at work in about 3.5 months, so i didnt want to push it over the weekend. I saw all the pics you guys took. I would not have been able to sit in the golf cart all day or under the tent. I would have pushed it and kept walking around, and screwed myself for work.

sorry for the long post

If you came out I would have forced you to sit the whole day in the tent with bubba, right at the side of the track helping him keep the times for the cars!

Dont take it the wrong way danny, i loved meeting you and hanging out but I felt bad you didnt get to see the track!

Danny, I think she just didn't want you speeding. BF used to have a PA license and got a few NY and NJ tickets and never had any points. PA is one of those states that doesn't have reciprocity. Just like NJ and NY. Funny how NY only reciprocates with Ontario

I had an awesome time meeting everybody. when they say nico is a family that is no joke.

I aint going anywhere, its not like im gonna buy a vw or an acura rsx, cough cough. I will be staying in the family and hopefully coming out to more meets and events.

I wouldnt have been able to sit at the tent, i would have totally been a little fan boy running around looking at all the cars, asking people to autox/drift me. and of course i would have had to stay and drink, and the gf would have killed me.

@marisha - totally, she was just trying to protect me. Its not like i wanna go 120 mph, but it would be nice to go 80 85 and not be worried about loosing my license...
