This is how my weekend started:





Bad weather and unfortunately it was my fault. I learned what it feels like to hug a deployed airbag. Thankfully I was also wearing my seatbelt.

Glad you're ok..... but look at that Stillen urethane. It's amazing that the hood is that damaged but the front fascia popped back into almost perfect shape.

And after reading the comments... I can say I totally agree. At first I just skimmed through the pics, but after a second look, that stillen fascia is tough!

Urethane will last forever. If it were fiberglass, that thing would have shattered to pieces. Glad you are fine too. I just arrived yesterday in Houston visiting family and the weather is horrible!

those were my exact thoughts. i was like hey, i can just get it repainted and throw it back on there and maybe pull it off. i really hope its not too bad either.

i had a bad feeling about driving cuz it was kinda rainy headed into downtown and it was bright as crap so with all the mist flying around and the sun hitting it made it almost impossible to see.

crazy thing is that there were 2 other seperate accidents around me so about 10 cars total including mine were involved in accidents. i might've hit the lady doing 40-50 since i slid most of the way. still got a bit of a headache :/

Always hurts to see a coupe go down. Glad you're okay though and what can you say about that urethane Stillen bumper. Aside from the paint, it looks great!

oh yea...i live in port arthur texas driving to beaumont and that horrible rain just came out of nowhere!...i literally could not see the road at ALL..just drove in a straight line and hope theres no turns here and there...and i couldnt see the car in front of me with their brake lights on till im just about 3 feet away from them

Ive been in 2(TWO) hit and runs! 1st hit&run dude got away. 2nd hit&run My insurance caught up to the guy about a week later, that A-hole said he fell asleep. B.S. i followed him until police dispatch told me to pull over & wait for an officer. he kept on ridin' like nuttin happened! Glad he had insurance tho!! -whew-

Someone hit me while i was going 60 on the highway (back when i had the mustang) and kept going after they sent me into a spin... I felt like 5-0 chasing them down.... also called cops en-route and they caught the 16 yr old girls joyriding their moms car.

i just hope my coupe isn't too messed up and is as good as new b4 i knew it.good thing i didn't get my headlights tinted cuz i wanted to that morning.plus i ordered rear endlinks so i don't see those going in anytime soon after i recieve them :/

Rain was pretty ugly in Austin as well. Managed to escape untouched this time but I was the guy in my neighborhood running around in the rain trying to cover his car to protect it from hail.

Glad you are ok and I would like to take this moment to point out that fiberglass would have not looked like the stillen urethane pictures above.

after going back and forth with the insurance and deciding on what i wanted to do, i've decided to fix it. its one of my only 2 options anyway. repairs will be about 13K!! the adjuster said i'm in a good position being that i actually want my car and they are willing to fix it but it was being close to being a total loss.

repairs should start today, my insurance covers aftermarket parts so it looks like i will be getting a brand new stillen front fascia and the money for a new HID kit. then when i get her back i can put my endlinks on!!
