since i have the head off and the motor on the stand, i figured i might as well have all the bearing and rings replaced. sent the block to a friend of mine who did that,

out like thiscame back like thisall thats left to do is finish cleaning the deck, and start re-assembly.

yea thats the tomei block adapter. great piece, CS make one but i wouldnt waste my time with it. Tomei is SOO much better TRUST ME.

i think it was an oiling issue, when i 1st got the motor, the oil pan was dented, no oil pressure = scarred cams. so yea....when the crank bearings were changed there was also a little scorring, nothing to cry about but still some there.....which is why i am putting a new oil pump and inspecting and cleaning all oil passages.

wow i completly forgot about this thread...lol...car still hasnt been painted but motor is all put togather. i cleaned and inspected the transmission...and painted it john Deere green. also added some purple...dont ask y...i was just bored...LOL...anyways pics!! enjoy!











New turbo GT2871R .82 A/R T3 flange, and V-band discharge.



Also painted a few brackets on the motor…as well as picked up a Greddy IM







Then I decided that I needed new wheels…



Front is 17x9 +19Rear is 18x11 +7Work VS-XXHad to mock it up on the car

Figured while I was buying wheels I would also get one of these.

I started to completely strip the car down in prep for paint…



Then I built a chassis Dolly. Got the measurements and specs from a user on here….cant recall user name at the moment…

Weather is kinda cold at the moment but the car is completely stripped…and sound deatening is removed…hopefully will be painted soon…

whats the brand for the valve spring compressor. i might need to pick one up. and where did you get that turbo witha t3 housing. or did you switch it out. pretty narly set up.

i cant remember the brand off hand...but i got it on ebay a few a while back...as for the turbo i pick it up off a member from a different forum...i wanna say the housings are ATP or precision. The center section is garrett.
