Grrr, I hate the times u get a lesson on how cruel and critical life is...

This morning a girl i knew from school died after an SUV rollover accident. Mybuddy works at the airport and was refueling helicopers when he heard the loudspeakers in the life fight hanger... her parents performed CPR on her until lifeflight arrived and she past away this morning.

Then a good buddy of mine, who was away in VA for the summer visiting his parents was riding in his buddies '00 Audi S4 when the driver lost control and they fell off a 30ft cliff b4 it started rolin, the driver was ejected through the sunroof. My buddy made it out without any broken bones, still dont know wat happened to the driver. And they were both in their 20s so dont pull that "look wat happens when u give a teen a fast car" ****.

Then with all the 'events' here on NICO the past few days, and school ****, getting back after an awful vacation, getting screwed over on more parts i paid for on my car (i have no job so losing $$ hits hard), sill having my car owned by he garage, some friends leaving for armed services, grandmother not doing well... grrr i need to just get away....

sorry, just not havng a good week...-Dan

I'm glad that your friend is okay. When it comes to teenagers in fast cars, I think they get the majority of the grief because most people giving the grief (at least myself) hope to be able to get to them soon enough. There are a bunch of morons of all ages, races and sexes who drive automobiles. You just hope that you can get at the 16 year old with bad habits, before he survives to become the 30 year old moron unable to realize how poorly he drives.

Sorry to hear about your friends and family. Surviving a 30ft drop is amazing too. I see stupid people driving everyday. Hope things look up soon. Nick

I had a similar experience this year. My last year at college and three people died leaving my local bar, within 2 months. One of them was a friend who was a "little person" who spun off the road into a stream after hitting some ice. They found him the next day and since he used a walker we hope he didnt freeze to death because I dont think he could have been able to swim out of the stream. It was a rough year for me too.

You know I'm here if you ever need to talk. I know *exactly* what you are going through and you know it. Just give me a holla if you wanna blow off some steam. And I am truly sorry about your friends, grandmother, life, etc. ;)

I hate to hear when people go through trouble times like that.I would say that if you have not been through something like what was posted by 240sx2nr95 than you will sometime in the future.I personally had my best Friend died as the passenger in a 240 that hit a parked simi truck on I65.Getting over something like that never really happens. You just have to get yourself together and go on through life making the best decisions that you can.Keep yourself positive and just kep on keeping on.Things will get better!
