What do you think? the main piece needs work and backround. and the lower right piece needs finishing. This is my first year in art (used to be in photography) and my first ever painting

Dang looks good. I am also someone who pencils a lot, but can't paint to save my life. I think a section for automotive art would serve this form well. I would bet there is a lot of talent on this site.

i wish my art teacher would let me do a car for a art project... im in high school too and in my 3rd year in art... im my art class what we do is large cut outs of movie, anime, and famous characters... it would be awsome if i could do one of a 240 or a skyline, mot likely drifting... (my teacher wont let me?

here is my cutout from 2 years ago ( lost the picture and original paint)

i still need to work on my car drawing skills because its hard to get it to look all right and good perspective-wise. But thanks for all the good comments everyone. I love all kinds of art and love cars better so whats better than combining them together? probably the next project i do i'll do one of a 240 drifting.using oil paints...should be sex. lol

Smart kid right here. Mechanical engineering is where it's at! Or environmental engineering. If only there was some way to combine the two. Hmm... Oh, nice painting by the way. It's really a perfect likeness to the photo.

Well, kinda. Enviro-mechanical engineering. I am making my own major. I will end up with a bachelors in environmental engineering and a masters in mechanical. Definitely stick with that path though. You really cant go wrong as an M.E.
