my altima broke!!!!

so who drives home in a tow truck with there gf for atleast 65 miles? i do!!! so on my way to six flags from fontana when im on the 5 and my cvt starts acting up i pull into six flags parking lot and notice smoke from under the hood. so i popped it an sure enough oil everywhere. i checked my dip stick for the motor but it was still there so i beleive it was my transmission 8( i hate my life. n e one else ever have a problem?

I'm highly doubting that it was your CVT that was leaking out and causing the smoking...Just because your dipstick has oil on it does not mean that there was oil in the engine...

When is the last time you changed your oil? How was your CVT "acting up?"

There could have also been a problem with the coolant leaking out as well - there are numerous reasons why you could have smoke coming from the engine bay - did you happen to notice if your temp monitor was higher than normal?

You're most likely still under warranty as well, so you should have no issues getting a major problem fixed.

The same thing just happen to me 909 i was on the thruway and then all the sudden i lost power and my car started decreasing luckily i was near a gas station and i pulled in and thought it was my gas so i put a full tank then check myoil and i see that wasn't the case until i realize it was a transmission problem now i have to get a new thank go its coveredhttp://forums.altimas.org/zeromodify?cmd=editpost&id=4799104#
