My AFR is way to rich 10.0 or worse at idle and 10.8 at full boost.

This is a new swap and I cannot get the car to run correctly. It smokes a lot and misses really bad because the motor is receiving to much fuel. I also have a hard time starting my car it usually gets flooded. I checked the ECU for codes and I get code 55. I replaced the o2 sensor. The voltage is good to the MAF and TPS. I removed and cleaned the IACV and the MAF. The engine that I have has a built head, isis intake, sard 850cc injectors and a gt2871 The ECU was tuned by Enthalpy. Does anyone have a suggestion on what to do next? Should I send the ECU back to get it checked? I feel like this problem cannot be solved.

What is your intake setup like?

The reason I ask is because I recently worked on a car and he was getting 10:1 at idle. His cone filter and MAF was sitting too close to his electric fans and was reading incorrectly. If we placed a piece of cardboard between the filter and the fans (and blocking the turbulence) it idle'd fine.

Also, what is your fuel pressure set at as well?

Justin- If he has an Enthalpy tune and his fuel is set up properly, running more boost or smaller injectors won't fix anything. Especially the super low AFRs at idle.

Here is a pic of my engine bay. I think that there is enough space between my MAF, turbo and fans but I will start my car tomorrow and see if using a piece of cardboard helps. Thanks

The engine is smoking and missing. Plus I can smell gas coming from the exhaust. Would an exhaust leak at the turbo cause this? I think an exhaust leak would only make the AFR gauge read incorrectly but correct me if I am wrong.

Does any one else have a suggestion. If I cannot fix this problem soon my wife is going to make me sleep in the garage.

I would say fuel pressure man....could be a dumb ? to ask but when I did my swap I forgot about it. Is you FPR hosed to you intake manifold. If not obviously connect it. If it is I would make sure its at the right psi (43.5 while the engine is running)

Good Luck!

I did a boost leak test and every thing was good. If I unplug the CTS while the car is running the AFRs get better 10.1-10.4 at idle but when the engine is at full boost the AFRs get really lean 14.0. Does anyone know what this means??

As blunt as this sounds. Try another tune?

do you have access to another known good cts? nissans seem to be very dependent on good cts signal. i think your going in the right route with the cts try another one and also check your wiring and make sure you have good grounds to the ecm, body, and engine block, good luck sir
