My Adventure in Athens, PA (projectors yay!)

I was able to buy some dual-projector lights from a NICO member for pretty cheap. The lights were retrofitted by brandon but had a lot of problems. I contacted darryl (dangeris) if he could possibly work on them for me and do his magic on them. The lights came out great.

I took a 4 hour drive (each way) to Athens, PA, darryl's neck of the woods, to hook these babies up. I decided to document this epic event lol.

Darryl's an awesome guy, but his dogs are are 10x more awesome, The Bubbas FTW!

After all the hard work nothing is better than some local wings. Best I've ever had:



It was very sunny out, so the pics didn't come out as great, but I'll try to take some better pics when the car is cleaner and take some nightshots as well.

nice!!!!! glad the projectors worked out for you... if I get some, i think I may just bite the bullet and send em to lightwerkz... expensive, but I've never heard of one single problem from a customer

although I'm not particularly looking forward to leavign the west coast, it will be nice to meet the East Coast NICOer's ... looking forward to my first big East coast meet

thanks doc, i actually contacted lightwerkz before and the response I got form them basically said they only do what they advertise on their site. They don't wanna work on already retrofitted lights, and he even told me he doesn't want to do custom light work like LEDs and demon eyes, etc...

either way, you have a set that's working correctly, so you're good to go.... the most of the rest of us are stuck with one of two options... pay out the wazoo for lightwerkz, or get the fugly projectors from a 2010, and mod our bumpers

Yeah i definet. contacted the right guy.... I wouldn't really consider the 2010 projectors as an option, I'm sure ordering them from nissan parts will be like $1600 for both, and that's without the front end conversion. Used pairs won't be available for a while either. There's still hope for aftermarkets, maybe....

No Dan,..I may make 6 figures but I don't live in no mansion. I live in a very modest craftsman home on an acre of land. Why should I spend all my hard earned money on a mortgage when I can spend it on better things like mods for the coupe, or a new 370 Nismo
