MY AC REEKS!

Has anyones air conditioning ever smelled like big foots d!ck before, or even a racoon caught in a copier? because when mine is just sitting there, or even going down the road it smells like there is literally a belt just on fire in my hood, what could this possibly be?

Well I can't say that I know what "big foot's d!ck" smells like, but sometimes my AC develops a smell if I don't blow out the cold air before parking car. Buy a can of air vent cleaner, then from now on, before you turn off your car, turn the A/C off and turn up the fan on ECON for 30 seconds-1 minute.

Do you have an in cabin filter, and when was the last time it was changed?(Also, what year is the truck?)

AJRK is right. You can buy the AC kit at any dealership, and it works great.

Also, pull out the squirrelcage and clean it, as well as the condenser. Both can be pretty funky after a decade of use.

Before you go buying all kinds of goods and trying voodoo, crank up the heat (85F+), blast the living pis* out of it for at least 5 minutes, and check out if any difference. Worked for me. Do this every time you change from spring (heat) to summer (a/c) mode. If it doesn't work at first, repeat.

Lexus mechanic taught me that trick. Needless to say don't sit in car when performing this experiment unless you want to lose about 5 lbs body weight!
