So I accidentally hung up on a customer thinking he was a telemarketer. Instead of him calling back explaining himself he called back and chewed out one of my co-workers. I told the co-worker to hand the phone to me, I'd own up to hanging up on the customer but the guy hung up before that could happen. My co-worker was smart and grabbed the guys name before he hung up. The customer was on the phone with the prez of the company telling him what happened, trying to get me fired lol. I called the customer, while he was still on the phone with the prez, to apologize for the mistake. I was put on hold for a minute then he picked up saying "It's too late for apologizes, I talked to your boss....YOUR a** IS GRASS!!". My question...does this mean that he's a lawnmower and he's going to touch my a**? I called the prez and he laughed a little because he knows the customer is a huge a-hole. Who, besides Bif, says "Your a** is grass" anymore?

That was my mothers worst threat to us when we were little. You musta reall effed up to get that one.

Well, ok, I have to admit that I used "your azz is grass" this past summer privately on my son, while trashtalking during an annual family miniature golf tournament. But I did it in a Duke Nukem voice if that counts for anything.

I hate bitchy customers. Deal with atleast 2 in a givin' weeks time.

I just tell them to go fck themselves, but I'm the boss, so that doesn't matter. If you can't resolve it, or they don't want to be courteous enough to respect you, Hang up. You went through more then expected on apologizing. Fck that guy. He probably lost his job to a kid, and he's all boo-hoo about it.
