you need a blue light permit for em. and technically i'm supposed to have a plate that says "brookfield volunteer fire" but its no big deal all the cops know me.Ubel Feuer wrote:Very nice, do you have to get some sort of license for the lights or is it ok because you're a volunteer firefighter?
Also, you could stop smoking and then not die and I wouldn't be sad. =)
yes they are. I think I'm gonna leave them cuz they sound awesome as it is.ganesh21 wrote:Nice setup. Are your interior speaker stock?
I used bulb number 74 from http://autolumination.com/74.htm I used the three LED one cuz I wasn't sure if the others would fit (three is bright enough) but if you try the others let me know I want it as bright as it can get. The only problem is the needles dull a little bit. I don't know if there is a light behind them.Qxxx4 wrote: The blue LED cluster is my next thing.....i need to research what bulbs to use...if you know by heart let me know!
I actually just got back inside from changing them to yellow again. (still HID just the 3,000K color bulb)99QX4 wrote:This is sorta not related but i noticed the green fog lights
I had them like that when I first put them in. and then I flipped them pointing up, I really couldn't hear a difference (they have a vent on the left side, could that be why?) I keep my turnout gear, helmet, and med bag in the trunk so there's a lot of stuff in there and currently have no grilles to protect the subs.Empty V wrote:Nice job dude, I dig the fogs. The only thing I would do is point your subs towards the tailgate, right now all you're doing is canceling them out.

I had to move a TV the other day and laid my box pointing up but right against the front seats and the output dropped dramatically. I thought about it and really don't know how it would sound in the trunk.fueler wrote:i agree that facing the rear (in a hatch like our pathfinders) is the loudest from the drivers seat. although facing up is fine, its not a huge difference.
The manual that came with the subs says that against the gate facing the front of the car is the best position for them (for suvs that is, sedans is a different story)fueler wrote:i agree that facing the rear (in a hatch like our pathfinders) is the loudest from the drivers seat. although facing up is fine, its not a huge difference.
