Well its time form me to decide how to go about turboing my Ka. Just to get this out of the way my engine compression tested at 180 across the board 87K miles. Its a strong well taken care of engine.I want to make about 250-300WHP to start out with. then do a engine build during the winter and go from there but for now my goal is between 250-300 or more.

I want to do one of two things.

Greddy tubo kit and FMIC- possibly get rid of the e manage and get a AEM or JWT/Enthalpy. + im not to sure how good the TD06 would work out with the KA for efficency for higher boost for later upgrades and tuning improvments...dont want to do compressor maps math right not.

Or peice together a kit like a AMS turbo kit wich is the most beuatiful thing i ever seen but it is the same price as the greddy for only the mani,dp,turbo,WG,oil lines and stuff.

Iv been looking into IAP but im not liking there manifolds reliability.

Im not to sure of any other turbo "KITS" for the S14. seems like most people peice together there stuff.

I think for a daily driver me best bet would be a cast mani for now.

ps lets just keep the subject on the engine.... drivetrain-fuel and other little things are taken care of.

So any help or lead into direction would be a great help before i start throwing some cash.

sry if this was long.

From what I've heard you can't pass obd2 emissions with a tuned ecu... is that true?

Well considering everyone your getting your advice from has a 93 and you have a 98, you wouldn't ask questions if you had all the answers.
